We used Posada El Jardin as our base camp while we explored the Puuc region for a few days, and were absolutely delighted with our stay. The property's garden is lush and beautiful, shaded by tall trees and full of happy birds. The rooms are large and very clean, with plenty of hot water and a nice, cold A/C. Ramón...

This is an inexpensive place to stay whilst on the Puuc tour of Mayan ruins. It has a lovely garden and rooms are small separate buildings within this. There is a small pool and plenty of places to relax, listening to the multitude of birds which visit the garden. The host is very welcoming and helpful with maps etc. A...

This quiet retreat offers a respite from the noise and dust of the town. The hosts are fantastic and breakfast is included at a very low price. The property has a lush garden and small pool. The hotel can be reached directly at roman@posadajardin.com

The host, Amanda, was welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was huge, but needed a bit of tlc. The garden was quite beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet and central.

Great place; welcoming, nice garden with a pool, host full of local information and history, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast... The location is at the center of the Puuc archeological area. We wish we would have stayed longer, hopefully we will return for more. When we arrived, the owner was already expecting us - we were delayed because the place is not easy to find. It is a very interesting place with a tropical garden and a pool. The room itself need some maintenance and a bit love for details would be a plus for the rooms. What definitively should be changed are the...

Having stayed at Posada el Jardin for two nights, I must admit that it is one of the places where I would definitely return. Despite the feeling that it needs some renovation, the place offers good rest in a semi private jungle. Rooms are clean and comfortable, owners are very friendly and it is not overpriced. Coffee, sweets and fruits...

It checks off so many boxes: central location, lush garden, proper beds, nice pool, good coffee, fruits for breakfast. And an owner that tops ir all. We felt welcome and at ease. The room is more an apartment, and has a patio, fridge, seating area. I van wholeheartedly recommend this. Great base for ruta puuc, cenotes etc.

This place was really lovely. Un sitio muy hermoso, familiar, con un dueño magnífico. I highly recommend it! It would have been great to spend two nights here exploring the Ruta Puuc. Definitely ask the owner his recommendations.

We had a great stay in El Jardin. It's a very good place to spend the night if you are visiting Uxmal and other places in the area. It's a quiet place with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. But what really makes El Jardin special is the owner. He was very friendly and helpful. He gave us advice on...
