Arrived and checked in to this lovely hotel. I had booked a front room as advised by other travellers for a small price extra for the three nights for my wife, daughter and myself. Our room wasn't ready so we ate in the bar - good service and nice food. When we went back to reception we were told our...

Between the staff and the hotel itself, this place is amazing. Stayed here for Valentines of this year and I honestly couldn't comment on how nice everyone was here. A special mention to Linda their Trainee Manager, my god she's just brilliant. Definitely a credit to this hotel and would make an amazing manager! Oisin and Deborah were absolutely fab...

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel while working in the area last week. Unfortunately due to time constraints I was only able to stay one night. What is extra special about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. From reception to dining room to housekeeping, it's all west Cork charm and hospitality. You really feel...

We were recently treated to Afternoon Tea at the Celtic Ross Hotel, a great surprise, and we were looking forward to it. The vintage style china was lovely and the tables beautifully laid out. The sun was streaming into the big airy room and we sat down on the very comfortable sofa and chairs. The girl who served us was...

From the initial booking process, then having to switch dates, to arriving on a sunny Saturday afternoon at the same time as a 200 strong wedding crowd I could not fault the wonderful reception staff here. Our room was clean, warm and very nice with fresh new thick carpet underfoot. The facilities were more than adequate and we thoroughly enjoyed our...

Stopped at the Celtic Ross Hotel for their Sunday carvery after a long, scenic drive down the coast from Cork. We were starving by this point, so happy to find a place just on the road with ample parking. Inside we were greeted by a young man with the thickest Irish accent I've heard who explained the buffet (lots of...

Stayed two nights last weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday, the location is brilliant (reminded me of 'Ryan's Daughter'), rooms very comfortable but could use an update (but not enough to spoil the charm), staff are great, nothing is rushed (as it should be in rural Ireland), & breakfast is first class. The celebration dinner for 40 people was perfect,...
