the rooms were very clean and spacious. great value for money, excellent dinner and the owner is very helpful in helping you book the rainforest tour! would definitely go back. there were not really any downsides, as long as you have mosquito spray you will be fine! spent a lot of time on their outdoor balcony which has a great...

We had a nice stay in this basic place. Rooms are clean with mosquito net above the beds but the room still full with spiders and other rainforest creatures. The food is basic too, one type of meal for dinner, you can't choose what you want to eat and you are very far from any other place. But the staff...

Reached by 4x4 provided by the hotel. Our " container" had all modern conveniences plus a few free ants in the toilet. The restaurant food was excellent for an off the beaten track hotel. Ideal for bird watchers and nature lovers. Our one night stay was not really sufficient after the effort required to reach it. Torches are provided to...

Off-Road situated and an Excellent base for excursions to Sinharaja Rainforest. The Lodge contains 11 rooms which all are huge and clean. The beds and pillows are very hard, so if you need soft accomodation, look elsewhere. The Food served in the restaurant are local and of very good quality. The staff are friendly and helpfull. We stayed for two...

Our tour company had wanted to book us into the Rainforest Eco Lodge, but we weren't convinced by the reviews and so selected this hotel instead. We were made to feel so welcome and at home as soon as we arrived. We were shown to our room, which was nice and spacious, with 2 beds each having a mosquito net...

The Hotel is well located for a visit at Sinharjah Rainforest. The Rooms are clean there. We had a really bad experience with host. First the lady wanted to show us to different rooms without telling us any price. After asking again, she told us that the price is different. At last she didn't take any initiative to tell us that...

We stood at the rain forest lodge for two nights and our experience was very positive. The rooms were clean and kept well, the staff was very friendly and the location is good to go for hikes in the rain forest (you need to go by Tuktuk, takes about 30 min). The first night we got there a little late...

We stayed there one night in order to take a trip into the rain forest. The rooms are very basic and the beds and pillows very hard and uncomfortable and we did not get much sleep. The bed linen had seen better days and did not seem clean so we slept on top of the bed. The owner had organised...

What a place! This has been my favourite place I've stayed in Sri Lanka thus far. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The food was out of this world. Best rice and curry in Sri Lanka! The hostess was super friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome; giving us fruits from the nearby rose...

Though not situated in the actual Sinharaja rainforest, this lodge has all the style and feel of being an actual rainforest lodge. Set about 5 kilometres from the rainforest entrance (20-30 mins by Tuk Tuk down narrow winding roads). We spent 3 nights here and used it as an ideal base for our rainforest trekking excursions. The rooms are nice...
