I arrived late - the staff knew I was coming, checked me in quickly and showed me to my room in a friendly manner. The room was small and basic but clean and had all I needed for a 1 night stopover. The bed was a little on the hard side for me and the shower cubicle door needed a...

I have never been inclined to come to trip advisor to write any reviews before but I thought this was an exception. We visited on Sunday the 13th of June, We were greeted with a warm welcome from a young girl with blonde hair all tied back, after receiving our bill we found out her name was Carrie. Service was...

Brilliant customer service what else can I ask for would definitely return again. Superb area for having a nice cold drink after a busy day out walking about and to be able to grab a nice comfortable seat and a nice selection of pub food

Booked a table for my partner, two kids and myself for 2pm and arrived on time. We were seated and handed a menu. The place didn't seem overly busy but there were a number a others eating. We ordered our food (starter and main) then waited... And waited... 35mins went by and finally our starter arrived. We were very pleased...

After confirming my booking weeks before arriving the hotel did not acknowledge that I had made a deposit or in fact a booking. I arrived and the staff were very embarrassed that they had been told not to accomodate any visitors. Luckily I stood my ground. But I wished I had left and gone somewhere else, as they didn't recognise...

We had a very good dinner here (slow cooked beef and vegetables). The staff was friendly...I recommend it! It's only a few minutes from Dumbarton if you're visiting the castle or Denny Tank. Very clean, appealing little place.

Dropped in on brief visit to Cardross, I don't normally order mushroom soup as experience is that it can be quite nasty in pubs, but it was soup of the day so I went for it. Good choice! Best soup I've had for ages, served with delicious warm Italian bread. Great advertisement for the new (very welcoming) owners.

Have always enjoyed visits to here. Had light lunch with a friend and the food and service was faultless. Staff are very friendly, atmosphere is relaxed and food is well cooked, well presented and excellent value for money.

Have eaten here twice in the last month. Once for breakfast and other for dinner. Couldn't fault food or service, Staff are really nice. The menu has a great variety would definately recommend haggis Bon bons for starter. Very reasonably priced too. Great place to stop if you are having a day out in the area. Thanks Coachhouse x

Really disappointed. Starter was fine, but it was just pate on toast. My main course was slow cooked beef, the mustard mash was very overpowering, the veg was hard and the bef was dry. My husband had steak and chips, the chips were more like massive roast potatoes and it was swimming in grease. Noone came to ask how our...
