We were staying here as an extended family (grandparents, parents and three small girls), to attend a wedding across the road at Ascencion estate. The small personal touches were wonderful. Breakfast came complete with handwritten note explaining breakfast, and was comprehensive and delicious for a continental breakfast. I would go so far as to say best continental breakfast ever! My wife and I and our 5 month old baby recently stayed at Jackboots Farmstay for 10 days in the New Year. On arrival Janine, a lovely host came and met us and showed us around The Bach accomodation which she had custom prepared to suit our particular needs with baby cot, baby bath, baby books and even nappies! We recently stayed at Jack Boots and had such a great time, would have loved to stay longer! Janine and her family were friendly and welcoming - their daughter was a great tour guide for our 18 month old son, showing him how to feed the chooks and pointing out the cow and sheep. This was an incredibly serendipitous find, and the highlight of our time in NZ. JB is a lovely, relaxing home away from home that is extremely comfortable and well appointed.
