The same family has run this hotel for 5 generations, since the late 19th century. The hotel is very proper, immaculately clean, in the center of a quiet community. The hotel restaurant serves superb food - for sure, try it out - and it is a short walk to other restaurants in the village. No air-conditioning, but it is not... More

My wife and I stayed at the Planes Hotel for a week. The rooms, while small, were extremely clean - not a speck of dust anywhere. The one we had seemed to have been renovated fairly recently. The bed was also very good. The food at the Planes is superb. The chef made a special meal for us that included... More

The hotel is on the mainroad through Saillagouse, parking nearby is easy. There is an eleveator in the hotel. The room we stayed in had a balcony and a spacious bathroom. The restaurant has an axcellent card, the menus are very good and they serve god wines for a reasonable price. If you dont like a formal restaurant, there is... More

Our second visit, sadly the outstanding restaurant was closed for holiday but the brasserie was opened and served excellent meals at very reasonable prices (16 Euro for 3 courses) For us the outstanding feature of this location is the opportunity for moderate hikes. In particular the town of Llo 2 km away with the Segre River valley offering numerous opportunities.... More

Hotel is at the top of the Pyrenees in a lovely little village. The hotel has been in the family for years and the owner takes everything to do with it. Rooms are quite small but this time ours was really good , nice and quiet with good air conditioning. Restaurant is unique well run and delivers first class food.... More

We have previously stayed in the Planes hotel, so this time we booked a room in their annex the Planotel where rooms are slightly bigger with balconies. Both are part of the same family business & enjoy the same facilities. Our room was lovely, dual aspect with snow covered mountain views. The lady on reception was very friendly & welcoming.... I can't comment on the accommodation, but we stopped here for lunch, and the restaurant is very good and well-priced. We had small meals only, but everything was such an excellent standard, an amazingly fresh salad, great omelette, and good wines.

The rooms are in dire need of redecorating. Windows do not close properly and the bathroom fittings are in bad state of repair. The lift is unreliable and gives no confidence that you'll not get stuck between floors. Does not justify the 3 chimney Logis classification. The restaurant is the saving grace with excellent food.

This is a traditional French hotel and has been run by the same family since 1895 The staff are extremely efficient and friendly and the restaurant serves delicious well presented food. It is good value for money even though the rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. In our three days we tested the 22, 33 and 45 Euro menus. All... More

We ate here with a group of friends and had high hopes bearing in mind the reputation of the chef. Since five generations the family Planes welcomes you in an authentic house Cerdane. The restaurant offers sophisticated cuisine and it has Catalan influences. Rich and varied, based on local products and specialties of the house. The hotel, an old relay of diligence, at the heart of the village, is one of the most comfortable of Cerdagne. Chambers are due south explained in a park raised with warmed swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre...
