We stayed for a night in December, and were hugely impressed. The room was charming, the spa bath huge and the shower powerful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and superb - we didn't eat again until evening! Thank you David - if we're in the area again we will definitely return.

Arrived at The Old Rectory to be greeted by the host David, taken to room 4 and given a very precise run down of the hotel. Chose to eat at the Darcys which was recommended and was not disappointed. Breakfast is a joy and very filling. All the staff give 100% and the room was extremely comfortable. On returning back...

For me this was the best stay ever in a B&B. The only downside was the fact that we had only booked one night. Well my wife had booked one night to celebrate my birthday following on from a night in another local hotel. My initial viewing of the room on arrival blew me away, you just do not get...

Lovely friendly staff, spotlessly clean, beautiful room and as for the breakfasts..... Wow! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again. I suffer from back problems and am a very light sleeper who usually has trouble sleeping away from home but I can honestly say this was the best night's sleep I've had in years!

The room was extremely spacious and filled with every extra you could think of, from a huge Welcome Chocolate bar, biscuits, hun bugs, a wide selection of tea, hot chocolate, coffee, water bottles, shampoo etc.... The romantic electric wood burner added both heat and atmosphere.
