We stayed one night in a standard room- decent bathroom, smallish bedroom.
Note that standard rooms (£140) are by the road- too warm to have window closed and noisy when traffic passes.
Clean and perfectly OK with good sitting room.

We visit a lot and Kieran and the staff always offer a warm and professional welcome. And having tried most of the menu I at last tried the rumblethumps - it was worth the wait. A great country hotel with a warm feel, good lighting...More
Spent the weekend with our marketing team from London at the hotel. The product and service from the team in this beautiful hotel is world class! Spending a lot of hours drinking in pubs I can safely say there is no atmosphere quite like the...More
The hotel staff were very welcoming. We received a lovely note welcoming us to the hotel and a welcome tray in our room including the hotel's branded whisky (Copper Dog) as well as some tasty treats. We also received

the painting was not the problem for us , it was the poor attitude , road noise ( which cannot be avoided ) , the dirty rooms , restaurant and bar . We visited the Station hotel in Rothes at the weekend & the ambience , service & dining was of a far far higher standard . but if you book to stay book a suite towards the back as it is also on the road . The cooperage at Aberlour is definitely worth a visit & Glenfiddich visitor centre .. further afield Elgin Cathedral ( ancient ruins ) & Lossiemouth beach / walk to lighthouse is wonderful too . have a great trip .
