Great hotel for a 3 night stay during our Whisky Tour. Rooms were clean and all ensuite with a hug bathroom and great shower. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful with any and all requests. Copper Dog Bar / Restaurant was great and the Quaich Bar was a dream for any Whisky Lover!!

Loved the hotel. The rooms were great, but the center piece of the hotel is the Quaich Whisky Bar. So many to choose from, where to start? Just ask the friendly barman, tell him a general profile, and he'll pull up a few wonderful selections - he really knows his stuff.

A fantastic genuinely disabled friendly hotel. A three night stay in the well appointed accessible room. Good hearty food in the Copper Dog (accessed round the outside of the hotel with my chair) in the evening and nice breakfast. Lovely whisky bar in the hotel. Facilities were genuinely dog friendly. Will definitely be back to further explore more distilleries and Speyside in general.

Room Tip: Good parking available and although their pub/restaurant is busy it was still good.

We decided to stay here on our way from Isle of Skye back down to Glasgow via Pitlochery as it advertised itself as having an extensive selection of whiskeys. They did not disappoint. The selection was excellent and the bartender had a very good knowledge of the whiskeys and taste profiles. He was skilled at asking what you liked or wanted to try and recommending a whiskey that was spot on. The hotel was comfortable and our meal was good.

I like to give a fair review of every place we visit. If it’s really bad I will say so and if it’s really great I will be the first to give out credits. This would have been a great place in its day. But is in need of some upgrades. Needs a refresh on the pillows etc. carpets cleaned and fresh coat of paint…place needs some serious maintenance.. room was ok, but didn’t have any space on the dressers to put anything of our own! We had to put the radio, the kettle and coffee items under the table so we had space to use. The restaurant the Copper dog serves a decent meal and good hardy breakfast. Lucky for us we are here when the weather is cool so we could leave our window open, but beware there is traffic on one side which starts to get busy around 4 am. There is no air conditioning and no fans in the room. The other things I was not crazy about, it was very small community so not much for choices of where to eat or sleep, if you stay here two nights is lots. Otherwise go up the road to a bit larger community. The staff were all amazing, very professional and very accommodating.

From the moment I caught a glimpse of the hotel through the trees I was hooked! For my Friend and I travelling in the Highlands, this was the "splurge" time of our bucket list trip. The beautiful old building has comfortable, large clean rooms, attached restaurant and delightful lounge style bar. The perfect country location from which to explore the area. My only regret is we didn't stay longer.

My husband and I had a lovely night at the hotel as part of his birthday celebrations. We enjoyed sitting on the decking in the sunshine in the early evening before having dinner in the Copper Dog which was excellent. We even got a complimentary dram for the birthday boy! Our room was lovely and clean with nice toiletries etc. although the rooms and hall ways are looking a little tired in places. But did not detract from our stay. Breakfast was lovely and all in all we had a great time. A great spot to explore Speyside from.

We stayed here for our first anniversary after getting married here in 2021. The hotel and location is beautiful. The food is amazing and the staff and service is second to none! Also brilliant that it is dog friendly! Rooms are spacious and comfortable and as I have said the staff couldn’t do more for you! Would highly recommend it here at the craigellachie!

We had a great stay at the Craigellachie Hotel. We really loved the charm and comfort of the whole property. It felt like we were staying at a friend's home. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The bedroom furnishings were very comfortable. The food was delicious (do make dinner reservations ahead of time). If we're ever lucky enough to be in Scotland again, we'll most likely stay at this hotel.
