We found the Speybank to be a very comfortable place to stay for two weary cyclists. Geraldine was very friendly and helpful. Our room, bedroom, breakfast room and guest lounge were all very well finished and presented. The complementary cake and extensive breakfast were delicious. The location in a pretty village made this establishment an ideal spot if you wished... More

Thank you so much for your kind words, it was a pleasure to look after you both at Speybank. I hope you got to John O'Groats alright and managed to avoid the thunderstorms. I would be delighted to look after you both again should you be in the area in the future. More

Last night's stay at Speybank B&B was over the top! This heritage home is beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences. The main floor lounge is warm and welcoming, with complimentary tea, coffee and home baked scones and cake. My queen bed had beautiful linens and the bathroom was well stocked. There was even homemade fudge on my tea tray!... More

I stay in B&B's all over Scotland thanks to my tour business. I can say without hesitation that Speybank is one of the finest in the country. My only criticism is that I always leave heavier than when I arrived thanks to Geraldine's fantastic cakes. Top class!

Excellent experience. I do not give 5 star ratings easily but this B&B definitely deserves them. We were visiting the Macallan distillery and the location was great for that, along with being within walking distance to restaurants. Geraldine was lovely and served a delicious breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms (we had 2) were very nice, clean, and modern. Some added... More

What a charming B&B! The owner is friendly, welcoming, and unpretentious. The room was clean and charming with thick towels. Breakfast was hearty, healthy, and delicious. It was served in a well lit room with wood details. It is evident that details are important here. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband chose the Speybank B&B mainly for its location and proximity to The Macallan Distillery. He had read the reviews here and decided to take the chance that they were honest reviews. We could not have been happier! The communication with Geraldine even before we arrived was great. She answered any questions very promptly! We stayed two nights and... More

Fantastic place, loads of good advice from owner. Can't rate highly enough. Breakfast was amazing, huge amount of choice. Central location and within easy access of the local pubs, distilleries and restaurants. If you're going to Craigellachie stay here.

Day 3 of walking the Speyside Way from Aviemore and I was glad I chose this B&B. Warm and friendly welcome. Home made cakes to enjoy with a cup of tea. Comfortable, en suite, room on the ground floor. Wide choice of food for breakfast. Thoroughly recommended place to stay.

“There are three ensuite rooms - one on the main floor adjacent to the common room with a private entrance, and two upstairs. The one on the main floor is smaller. One of the rooms upstairs has two twin beds and the other has a queen bed with a sitting area. All have updated modern bathrooms with great showers. Make sure to visit the Fiddichside Pub in Craigellachie - Joe is the owner and bartender. He's in his eighties and he and his pub are one of a kind!!”
