It’s a relatively small, family run place this, and that’s were their main, hyper-qualities lies. The location is on very quiet Don Khong, the biggest island, were a stunning sunrise early morning puts you into the mood. Possible excursions is day long boat trips (a smooth collaborative operation with the neighbor enterprises), and cycling on your own. Fair enough. It’s a fine pool there too, that is shared with the guesthouse next door, also run by the same family. So don’t expect action and party coming into this, but then... the hotel operation and the staff itself; tons of laughter and humor, bad jokes, dedicated talks and reflection on politics, religion, etc etc.... this place seems to have it all... And for the record; their kitchen is maybe the best we experienced on DK. In other words, well worth having dinner there, at the terrace, overlooking Mekong in the (also beautiful) sunset. Nb! Huge rooms, good bathroom, ok breakfast... Love it!

A comfortable quiet hotel, with an excellent swimming pool. The room was spacious, and the hotel was a convenient base from which to explore some of the many islands, especially waterfalls. Sonia was a star member of staff, seemingly running and organising everything with a smile. Any issues were swiftly resolved by her, from check in, dinners, drinks, breakfast, laundry. Nothing fazed her.

We had heard of this place and wanted to see it as it was reccomended for people who wanted a quieter place to stay. We arrived quite late and found we were the only guests (off season). The manager/owner spoiled us and organised some river trips. We only spent a few days there, but would love to return.

This is our first stay in Laos. Don't know what to expect. The room was big with large comfortable beds. Renovated bathroom. The AC made a terrible noise. Wifi in the room was not good. The pool is in the neighbor guesthouse. Same owner. The manager speaks good English. There was another guy who confused us s lot. Breakfast okay. The dinner menu limited. And much didn't taste much. Best was the fish.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights in this Hotel. The rooms are verry clean and spacious. The breakfast is good with fresh baked Bread and home made jam. The staf is helpfull and friendly to. It was a real pleasure to stay in this Hotel and enjoy the sunset over the mekong in the morning.
