Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful staff. They have menus in the hotel to decide where to eat in the evening in the village. This year marks the ninth year I come to Capalbio and I stay at Valle del Buttero. I love it. The staff, with Roberta and Riccardo, Simona, Giordano, Giovanni, Stefania, and all the others are kind, efficient, and always professional and attentive. The hotel is particularly appreciated by families with kids, but I also enjoyed it as a couple before we had kids. The rooms are silent, clean and perfect for both a brief stay and a long vacation. The premises are spotless and the pool is the place where each year we make new friends among the returning customers of the hotel. My kids are learning to swim here and I am very grateful for the memories. The village of Capalbio is charming and there are excellent restaurants in walking distance inside the center of the Medieval village. If you don't feel like walking uphill, you can choose one of the two restaurants a brief walk out the hotel. For lunch, you can have a salad by the pool. Coming by car is the best solution (they have a gated parking lot), so that you can explore the beaches (15-20 minute ride) or the mesmerizing Tarot Garden (15 minute ride) but, if you really don't want to do anything but stay by the pool and enjoy the beautiful view of the hills under the pool umbrellas, you can do just that!

A beautiful, clean, well-kept structure, many services, very kind staff, Among other things, it is a stone's throw from the historic center of Capalbio, despite having a lot of outdoor green space and a beautiful swimming pool. This review is particular as I did not have the opportunity to use their services but I received confirmation of their great availability and elegance and therefore I thought it appropriate to point it out. I reserved a 3-day stay, the day before departure a serious family problem made me renounce it and consequently subject to the right penalty which the structure waived. This hotel was fantastic, brilliant location, clean and comfortable room with great amenities, beautiful pool and amazing staff. Giulia was a very helpful staff member who checked us in with ease, she helped us with a room upgrade and was very gracious and friendly during the process. We are very grateful to her! This town is stunning and the hotel is only a short walk to lots of great restaurants and bars. We are extremely happy with our stay in this hotel and would love to go back!

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with a warm smile and unparalleled hospitality. Your staff was extremely professional, courteous and helpful at all times. Highly recommended hotel! For the rooms, large and equipped with every comfort, for the swimming pool (well-kept and with a small bar for quick meals), for the attention to detail in the rooms, for the service (friendly and helpful staff for every need and advice), for the 'excellent and varied breakfast (top homemade cakes!). The location is excellent, a stone's throw from the center and 15 minutes from the sea of Capalbio. In half an hour you can also reach Ansedonia and Orbetello. Parking included.

My 2 teenagers and I watched for a week in Capalbio and this hotel . I cannot praise the hotel staff enough . Wonderful friendly and helpful staff and owners . The self serve breakfast is plentiful and to everyone’s taste . Lovely pool with lunch snacks available which the teens enjoyed . Plenty of wonderful restaurants each evening to sample within walking distance. 20 mins to the sea . Car hire needed . Easy access from Rome airport 90 mins . Highly recommended . Will def be back . Mattresses a bit hard but that’s the only fault .
