The reviews on file are correct. The bones of the resort are full of potential. It has the site along with a rustic main lodge (office/rooms) and a separate dinning room along a lazy reed filled stream flowing to rapids. It must be breath-taking in the fall. To do: canoe, paddle boat, bikes, ATV, kayaks all for hourly rental. The...

We booked a weekend at the HR "resort". How on earth this establishment can call itself a resort is beyond us. There is absolutely NOTHING to do at this "resort", unless you would like to rent their dirty, water-filled paddle boat or a kayak. If you wish to fish, your line and lure will get caught in the lily pads....

Front desk is often not available. If you are lucky enough to get hold of them, they sound rude and unprofessional. The communication is terrible, not clear at all! When poor communication leads misunderstanding, it's all customer's fault. WILL NEVER GO THERE!!!

Booked a two night stay with Groupon for a little getaway. When we arrived the placed looked clean and grounds well kept. I read all the bad reviews but really you get what you paid for those who used a coupon. The service wasn't bad they were courteous and helpful. We had breakfast at the restaurant both mornings but decided...

My boyfriend and I rented a suite at Hastings resort not knowing what we were getting other than a weekend away from the city. We checked in on a Friday and left on a Sunday. The room was nice and rustic feeling and had a great jaccuzi tub and a large balcony. 2 large screen TVs, free WiFi, cable, a...

First, I have not stayed at this hotel but from the booking fiasco I encountered, I wouldn't even consider it. When booking, the web site clearly stated that "$0.00 due now. Payment information is only needed to hold your reservation.". The next day my credit card was billed TWICE! When I contacted the hotel by phone, I was told the...

I bought this coupon from WagJag for 3 days 2 night on 27-29th Mar 2015. I had a good time with my hubby, the room was clean, nice, quiet, beauitful view, peaceful place to getaway from the town, everything was perfect. They have onsite steakhouse, the server was friendly, the foods was yummy! What's more do you expect from this...

Booked a stay... gave credit card thinking they were holding my room. They charged card without even staying. Person on phone very rude. My grandfather passed away, a few days before stay so that changed plans. The resort will not refund and is keeping my money. What a scam they got there....and zero heart and business ethics. Stay away from...

Exactly the same bad experience as other reviews. Do not waste your money booking two nights. You will only stay one and you won't get a refund. No good for a winter family get away smelly room was hard to sleep in despite king bed. The soup at restaurant tasted from the can but other main course were okay unfortunately...

Would like to start by saying the price we got on WAGJAG was that "Too good to be true". As we pulled up the place it looked nice. Room was tiny, bathroom door was shut and when we opened it it smelled of sewage. The bathroom was about 10 degrees. I was looking forward to a hot shower after a...
