The location is certainly enchanting and the view too, but the rooms/mini apartments would need a "refresh" of the furnishings, maintaining the rustic appearance. The showers would also need to be modernized, given the quality they would like to offer. The reception service was impeccable, unlike that of the restaurant which did not always provide the best information and assistance (one day espresso was not allowed and the following day it was). The buffet service could be improved not in the quality of the food (very good), but in the order of arrangement.

The location of the Borgo is very pretty, surrounded by greenery with a beautiful view of the hills. The rooms and apartments are on several levels quite far apart and surrounded by nature. There are three swimming pools of different depths to meet the needs of all age groups.
The three star rating refers to the poor organization despite the kindness of the staff.
We call on the day of departure to advise that we will check in after dinner and the staff calls us back around 8 pm asking why we did not arrive.
I had chosen this place for the presence of the restaurant and while we check in we are told that it is not possible to book as it is already full. Upon arrival in the room they had forgotten to make a bed and I had to keep the children waiting for sleep.
On the day of the check put I agree with the secretariat to postpone the departure paying a surcharge, but around 10 a guy arrives in the room to warn that it is check out time, on several occasions they have shown a total absence of communication between the staff.
The following days we go around 9am to have breakfast, which is open until 10am but many things are already finished, those present are of very low quality and the juices are totally indrinkable. If you try to ask something from the staff like a cup of warm milk they pretend to listen to you and then disappear and never see them again because there are few to handle many people.
Before booking I expected a more familiar management instead the common areas are full of people having to struggle to find a place in the free pool.
Honestly for the price of the room I would have expected a much higher quality given the presence of the magnificent facilities in Tuscany.

So presupposing that I booked without looking at the reviews and the same day I went I saw them took a hit. I must say that the structure is very nice, characteristic, built on levels (uncomfortable for those who have strollers but if you can adapt Mood holiday zero problems) the cleanliness of the apartments and mine was economy, was impeccable, in fact I do not understand the comments. Also what others call old in Tuscany is rustic and must be understood and appreciated! So everything ok indeed very nice! The pool divided into three levels from the lowest 40 cm for the little ones is perfect, my son two and a half years had a great time, the other two are beautiful overlooking a beautiful view. Now why three stars because the bar should be filled to allow you to buy the minimum ie a packet of chips for example... Thanks to the cute bar girl who gave us a basket... too bad because then the aperitifs .. exceptional... and then the truth about previous reviews... the breakfast .. bad .. a disgusting four things and also low level.... I dare not imagine the food at the restaurant that seen the reviews I was careful not to try it! Too bad if it wasn't for the food I would be back... for the rest the really nice staff .. everyone!!!

Hotel in the countryside with a beautiful view. Too bad about the bad management. Dated rooms in need of restoration. Poor cleaning, insects and spiders everywhere, even we found ants the bathrooms. Breakfast with fairly cheap products, waiters that while you are eating I take you off and the houses off the table, plus they clean the tables with people's used napkins instead of changing the disposable tablecloth. Horrible!

Sin!!! Remarkable position facing Argentario, typical rooms of fallen nobles with dated furnishings, annoying musty smell and acceptable cleanliness. WiFi adapted to the context therefore with performances reminiscent of the 90s. Restaurant worse than a company canteen in a suburb of Caracas with prices, unfortunately, rather high compared to the quality. Ridiculous service with total disorganization and reception totally unsuitable to satisfy even the most basic request. Really shame, I wouldn't return for sure and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone

The quality of the restaurant has collapsed compared to 2022, not only is it not adequate to the level of the resort, it is not acceptable. The self-service food was poorly cooked, packaged bread, no fresh fruit (only in syrup), no cheese, no fish, oil and vinegar in single-dose sachets, salads that were not fresh. I had booked half board and out of 7 dinners I only had the first 3, then I gave up. The rooms positioned under the swimming pool are disturbed by the 24h noise of the water circulation pump which should be shielded. The room only had a French door without a mosquito net, so it was not possible to leave it open. Very disappointed, in 2022 it was heaven.

Village located in a great location with great views (depends on the room). Staff of the restaurant and bar really nice and friendly. As per the title, you have to improve quite a few things, umbrellas in the pools almost all broken, increase the cleanliness in the pool area, ashtrays umbrellas always full. To improve the rooms and cleanliness of the rooms especially the terrace of the room. Provide at least one bottle of water in the room. Decrease bar water prices (€1.50 for a 500ml bottle). Some breakfast items (tart) was very dry. Very good croissants and stuffed staples. Relax in the pool very difficult because there were guys who were diving and playing ball. Pool area to clean. I'm sorry, but I'm not satisfied.

We need an extra gear. The place is lovely! The structure is in harmony with the landscape. Well-kept paths and greenery, the cleaning of the exteriors is daily and is perhaps more evident than that of the rooms. But I won't focus on spiders and ants because if you opt for a holiday in contact with nature it would be foolish. We chose half board: the food is good, varied and of high quality (even fruit and vegetables). There are typical Tuscan dishes and also a good wine list. As far as catering is concerned, it would perhaps be appropriate to pay more attention to children. Maybe upon prior request (in case there are few! Agree on simple dishes, pasta and tomato, cutlet). For two or three days in a week, the little girl had difficulty choosing at the buffet. I would add, however, that when faced with the request for pasta with tomato sauce, the chef did not hold back. Then I would offer guests the option to book a lunch box if they wanted to travel and skip dinner. At this point someone might be wondering why three stars? The maintenance of the swimming pools in a four-star resort is absolutely inadequate. The site promises an active holiday, but it becomes active if you take the car and move around, otherwise it becomes a pension away from the chaos. One of the tubs even has a hydromassage system, but it doesn't work. Not even some music on the pool. The lifeguard appears as if he were not there or wears a bandana and glasses and rests in his chair or walks from his station to the bar. When he gets bored he cleans the pool with a brush while guests are in it. In the end, in the evening if the guests don't do it, some umbrellas close it. Let's go to the children's animation chapter. This is a mini club, with very helpful and kind girls even after hours, but there is no organization and there are no workshops that are advertised on the site (small chef, astronomers lab, recycling.....). If we want to talk about entertainment for adults, it's quick. Either you bring a deck of cards and play near the bar in the evening or you are given two rackets and play a game of table tennis. On the site there are images of adults engaged in water aerobics activities, but in reality there is none of this. The only excursion proposal is the one that has vineyards as its destination (and perhaps oil mills if I remember correctly!). A bit reductive...... I want to conclude on a positive note, the true soul of the resort is the dining room staff. Smiling, helpful, friendly, attentive to guests' needs, their commitment is commendable from the beginning of the service to the end: a truly great team!

We stayed in this lovely resort in Tuscany with amazing views of Magliano historical town and in the near distance the coastline and the island of Giglio. Surrounding our resort were lots of lovely villages with little shops and typical restaurants and we were lucky to experience some good fun local festas. This well appointed resort had an on site restaurant and cool swimming pool. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had all the necessary amenities and chose the half board option in the centralized restaurant where buffer breakfast and dinner was taken . We very much enjoyed the open barbecue grilled meats and our table overlooking the beautiful countryside. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the cleanliness and attention to sustainability were top notch .

Borgo Magliano Resort: it is not a four star Stunning location in the middle of nature, large and spacious rooms furnished in a simple and functional way (we had an upgrade so from a slightly small economy they gave us a much larger family room with a balcony), fairly quiet rooms (except in the evening of August when the entertainment was a bit too noisy). The negative sides are: lots of ups and downs and stairs (from the photographs we didn't understand the rooms were distributed vertically), too crowded (going there in August certainly doesn't help but in our opinion they should have provided less accommodation to maintain peace and tranquility), breakfast not 4 star (broken coffee machines, although in a 4 star I would expect the coffee to be served at the table, barely sufficient buffet, never fully ready by 7.30) Final rating 6 and a half shame because the location is truly suggestive.

"Nella campagna toscana, nei pressi del paese di Magliano in Toscana è un bel resort, ampio, con grandi spazi comuni, servizi adeguati (bar, ristorante, market, reception, ping pong, piscina), abbastanza elegante, per coppie, ma buono anche per famiglie. Consigliabile".
Qualè il problema e da dove nasce tutta questa ilarità ?
