This is the second time we have stayed at the Albergo Pietrasanta. We had the same wonderful experience as last year. The staff is very helpful and willing to make thoughtful suggestions if requested. It is a beautifully designed small luxury hotel in a wonderful town near the sea with fabulous art! Albergo Pietrasanta was one of the many hotels we visited during our trip along the west coast of Italy. At the outset we were shattered by the beautiful, well restored as well as tastful decorated palazzo, with an impressive glass conservatory and pleasant garden. All rooms are spacious and decorated with style and taste, which you cannot always take for...

We only stayed at the Albergo Pietrasanta for one night, but although it excelled at nothing, it still proved to be a lovely little hotel in itself. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view through the porthole windows of tiled roofs and verdant trees. Special mention should go to the exceptional woman at the front desk: friendly,...

Please be informed that the report made by the Bochanan Traveller is entirely false and can be proved it to be false for two reasons:1 to able able to run 100 kms the valet should have been away for more than one hour and his absence in such a small hotel would have been noticed, since we only have one...

Albergo Pietrasanta is located in the village of Pietrasanta. The town, set in the coastal hills of Tuscany region, is an ideal destination in itself and a great location for explorations of nearby Pisa, Lucca, and greater Liguria. This luxury albergo of 19 rooms is situated in a seventeenth century palace known as Palazzo Barsanti Bonetti, in the historical center...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Albergo Pietrasanta is located in a grand seventeenth century palazzo, formerly known as the Barsanti-Bonetti, in the historical center of the town, near the Cathedral and the medieval square. A lovely veranda, facing landscaped gardens with century-old palm trees, connects the main building to the adjacent converted stables and provides a peaceful setting to have a quiet conversation or read a book. An extraordinary collection of contemporary art works is on permanent display at the Albergo Pietrasanta. The collection gives an exhaustive overview of the development of Italian art from the middle of the twentieth century until today. Each of the 15 rooms and 5 suites has been designed individually: furniture and colors have been chosen according to the structure of the spaces. Contemporary art works are displayed in staircases, lounges, and conference rooms, creating a comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of a fine private home, but coupled with the service of a first class hotel. ... more   less
