Came here for a wedding. The wedding was lovely and they put on a lovely all day ceremony. The food was lovely, the set out was lovely and what a place to have some nice pictures taken! The rooms were standard which we didn't mind so all in all, a nice place to stay!

I stayed at the Sitwell Arms this week as I was on business in the area. I requested a ground floor room and was delighted to be given a spacious and very comfortable room fairly close to the main reception. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order, so of course took a little longer than a buffet - but well... More

We visited the hotel for a charity function. It has a spacious bar and several function rooms. The service was ok if a little sporadic but the staff had a will to please and were nice and friendly. It is well located for junction 30 of the M1 motorway.

The rooms are good but need updating badly. Nice size bathroom and the bed was comfy. Had a good nights sleep. The cooked breakfast which was in with the price was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't fault it. The day for the wedding was beautiful all in all.

We stayed at this hotel for one night as we were visiting family in Sheffield. All of the staff were very friendly & helpful. We arrived before the 2pm checkin and were still able to get into our rooms. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The only downside... More

Stayed here for one night prior to attending a conference near by. Do not be put off by the bad reviews. Found this to a charming hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Our twin room was large, albeit with dated furniture, but it was clean and in decent repair. The bed was comfortable and we had... More

My wife and I had to find a place close to a local college where the Scottish Exiles Rugby trials were being held. So, we booked this hotel, arriving on a foul Friday evening, after a ghastly drive from Bristol, in the dark and damp of a cold February evening. Immediately, we were welcomed with the warm, open handed hospitality... More

We visit this hotel frequently and our stay this weekend was lovely. The staff cannot do enough for you, service is great and the hotel always has a nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say is the rooms that have not yet been refurbished do need the bathrooms doing sooner rather then later.

No staff. Room boiling hot. Room decor awful, worn down distasteful. Curtains let light in. Beds uncomfortable. Breakfast not cooked properly, unclean in eatting area. Paid £70 for the night and would of paid no more then £40. Overpriced. Have stayed in travelodges for £30 a night and been 100% better then here.
