Juan was a great host who made us feel welcomed to the hostel and to El Salvador. He has many great ideas for excursions in the area and around El Salvador. We had a great time at paseo el Carmen which is practically at the door of the hostel. There is good restaurants and bars in the area. The room and entire hostel were very clean and well kept. The area feels extremely secure and starting on Friday you have locals putting up stands on the street that is closed to traffic with food and crafts:) Can't go wrong for the price and quality! Thanks Juan!

Juan was very welcoming and hospitable. If we had any questions, Juan was available to offer help and information. He gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit in El Salvador. The hostel is in a perfect location close to Paseo del Carmen and other historical sites. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. I highly recommend this place if you're going to Santa Tecla.

I stayed 3 weeks at the Mango Inn because I did some volunteering nearby and it really felt like a home away from home. I stayed in a single room which was small but very comfy. Also everything was very clean and the staff really is amazing and very helpful. Location is great, right next to the Paseo del Carmen, with lots of bars and restaurant (can get a bit noisy on weekends) The area is very sage as well! The only thing I missed was a kitchen, but only because I stayed so long. If you are there just some days, there really is no need for it, because there are tons of restaurants around.

The hotel is very well located in it felt safe and the staff are friendly. Paseo El Carmen really comes add a nice touch, thanks to these restaurants, shops and the jovial atmosphere of the weekend. So, that make staying at Juancito's Mango Inn is a great experience.

We enjoyed a few nights in a private room, and were happy we chose the Mango Inn. Juan and his staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of English is spoken if you need the help. The hotel is clean with nice bathrooms and good beds. The property is very nice and has a few places to hang out and relax. Location is perfect for exploring the area. I will be back, and I can recommend this place.

Three friends and I came to the Mango Inn in march. We were only planning on staying one night but ended up staying four nights. The hostel was very clean and relaxing. The beds are really comfortable and it's within walking distance to the bars. Reception is very friendly and helpful. When we got here we didn't really know what there was to do and juan(owner) told us loads of things we could do and sorted everything for us. He even took us out on an all day private tour with him up to the volcano and to another small town the other side of san salvador. He told us the history of the city. It was a very nice day. That night he had a private party at his bar which he invited us to and it was one of the best nights I've had out in a while. Juan's the man!!!!!!

I had a great stay here for a handful of nights. The location is pretty much perfect for walking around Santa Tecla and enjoying the nightlife around Paseo el Carmen. Beds are clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, and Juancito himself took me for a private volcano trip one afternoon, sharing a lot of knowledge, which I enjoyed a lot. I'd love to stay here again!

We stayed here in January and we had a great experience. Juan was a great host and arranged for an airport transfer to the hotel and led us on a great city tour. We got to know the Paseo del Carmen area quite well and Juan pointed out all the highlights in town. The hostel was clean, simple, and reasonably priced. I would stay here again!

We made a reservation here last minute, and were so glad we did. The owner was very helpful and spoke great English. I think the location is this hostel's greatest asset--just a few blocks from "Paseo del Carmen." The only downfall to this place is something quite silly: terrible pillows. Other than the rock-hard pillows, this place was great!

Thank you for your positive review, we’re glad you enjoyed your stay! We will take your feedback on the pillows to heart – they will be nice and soft the next time you visit! (If you do, ask for complimentary drinks at our other business, Lima/Limon Tropical Bistro in Paseo El Carmen. ;D It was a pleasure to have you, take care!
