The owners were incredibly helpful and kind! They helped accommodate our needs during New Years Eve weekend. They employees were willing to help us in any way possible, including a flexible shuttle service and helping to find lost items. I was also pleasantly surprised when the owner helped me clean the snow off of my car as we were headed...

We were looking for a romantic getaway, and this was not the place. Having stayed with our friends at a ski-in, ski-out establishment, the Austing Haus does not come close to comparing. We were promised a king loft room, and got a "loft" with two queens. Not sure how one would be able to bring a suitcase, up to the...

Great location, very friendly and accommodating staff. The people made the stay there very enjoyable. Great breakfast in the morning. Nice ambiance. Good rooms, not 5 star, but cozy, warm, and clean. I would recommend this to anyone going for the first time to Taos.

While this place is awesome, it is distinctly not a 5 star hotel so one shouldn't come here expecting that. The building is an entirely wood structure, and as such it makes noise as you walk and move. You can also tell that it was hand built by a man who wasn't a professional. Despite all that, though, the ambiance...

Great location about a 10 min drive to ski area. Rooms are nice but not 5star. Nice fireplace. We rented a place with a loft. Took some teenage boys who slept upstairs. They loved it. Good breakfast. Great parking. Nice basic place to stay. Great prices. I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff, breakfast, and construction style makes Austing Haus a solid performer. The owner's warmth and knowledge about the area made us feel comfortable. The location for the ski area is super convenient and the shuttle service they provide is essential during the busy times (e.g. spring break) when parking is at a premium. It's also easy to take longer...

Austing House and employees are what you would hope to find . After a long day on the road or of skiing the property is quiet and relaxing . They have a full breakfast, good parking, a great shuttle service to slopes and they welcome small dogs under twenty pounds. The shuttle makes it possible for everyone in your group...

We booked Austing Haus based on availability, pricing and reviews posted on the internet. We stayed for 4 nights from Dec 27 to Dec 31 - likely the busiest time of the year. First time I had called about a reservation, I spoke to Sarah - she was very nice and accepted our request to hold the rooms while I...

This place is cozy and perfect for a long weekend. The staff is beyond accommodating and shuttle you back and forth upon request- Joe made sure we were always taken care of! Good warm breakfast every morning and good ski packages for reasonable prices. Overall a great experience and we highly recommend it!

The Austing Haus has a wonderful quaint charm. We stayed the last few days of 2011 and being fairly cold (at almost 12,000 feet) we enjoyed our fireplace room everyday! Our dog enjoyed it too - we appreciate "pet friendly" places very much. Each day started off with a really good breakfast in a very nice dining room - beautiful...
