Very nice place to stay. True Ski in, sky out at unit 12. We stayed last week of February 2016. Apartment was very nice, fully equipped and very clean. When we needed staff assistance, we got quick and effective solutions. It is a great walk across a trail to get to the small ski valley town (do not expect many... More

Large comfortable condo. Well furnished and feels like home. Easy Ski In and Ski Out. Great Staff and hot tub. Nice view of the bunny slope lift on the large porch. The kitchen is well equipped with every pot and pan, dishes, and glassware imaginable. Fireplace works great with wood stacked next to the front door!

The condo was very well equipped, dated but clean and nice! The only down side is not having easy access to your vehicle if the weather is icy. However this is trumped by the ski in/ski out feautre! Taos is a nice small town feeling area. The staff at Kandahar was over the top helpful!!

Everything about this place is homey and authentic, down to the broken alarm clock that constantly flashes time 3 hr and some minutes ahead, to the lovely dogs that roam the property. The last time I was here was some 25 years ago when during grad school, we came here for a ski week. I brought my husband and two... More

For our first family ski trip, we wanted a location that was onsite since we didn't know how well each of us were going to like skiing. The Kandahar was a FANTASTIC find. We had a spacious and comfortable condo where we could cook our own meals, giving us more funds to invest in the ski experience. The staff were... More

We visited the Kandahar in mid January for four nights. It was a great experience. Four wheel drive is required (as the staff told me) but they will gladly pick you and your luggage up and bring you up the mountain. Both coming in and leaving. The skiing was fantastic as it always is at Taos. The views from the... More

Kandahar staff are amazing and the condo itself spectacular! This was our second New Year's in the Taos Ski Valley at the Kandahar...we cannot say enough about our experience. WONDERFUL and rejuvinating...hot tub each evening and then out the door the next morning to hit the slopes! And...I finally learned to ski so the ski-out, ski-in nature of the Kandahar... More

I was really looking forward to a "summer stay" in the Taos mountians..unfortunately this was not an okay option. Location is amazing, right at the base of the ski mountian. The Kandahar is way past it's prime. Run down at best, paint peeling, old funiture, the downstairs bedrooms are dark, cramped & in need of serious remodeling. The spiral staircase... More

The location is great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had a late booking during heavy season, so we were nat able to book our first choice. The Kandahar has a few units which have not been updated because the owners of those condos refuse; our unit was one of them. The old and saggy couches and... More

This was a great little condo located right on the mountain at Taos Ski Valley - our particular condo was ski-in/ski-out and was superb! It was spacious and comfortable, though a little old (that didn't bother us). It had a nice big kitchen, nice bedrooms and a huge kitchen that was more than suitable for us to prepare meals for...
