2 night stay with friends while touring Shropshire, Herefordshire and Wales. Private grounds, off road parking covered by CCTV and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Rooms were en suite, clean and warm. Breakfast was included in the room rate, was of good quality and plentiful. Hotel has bar and light bites menu or there are restaurants and pubs a short 5 minute walk away. Family run hotel with a small, long serving, team and it shows. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and look forward to my next stay.

Nice hotel within a lovely setting, rooms are nice and spacious. Shower was a bit fiddly but good bathroom overall. Not bad for the price. Some nice condiments as well as the offer of a wide variety of choice for breakfast.

We used the Old Rectory Hotel as a base when attending a wedding at a nearby stately home. Perfect for our needs - staff were helpful and cheerful - especially Selina. Happy to recommend if you are staying in this lovely corner of Shropshire.

My husband and I had afternoon tea here and it couldn't have been more pleasant. Staff were welcoming and helpful and the food delicious - and in fact so generous that they packed up the things we couldn't manage for us to take home. Really recommend.
