Had a stayover on the way back to Nagoya and just need a clean room to sleep . Was surprised to find the place much better than my expectation , with free coffee in the lobby and decent breakfast at a reasonable rate. Did not use their laundry equipment due to the "look"" but there is coin operated laundromat just 2 mins walk away which is much cleaner but cost more .
Usually I will look for hotel rooms at least 15 square metres and this was not exception. The room was decently large but I experienced problems walking in the room after I open up my large- and mid-size luggages. There was hardly space between the luggage and the beds. Also, they provided a small cupboard which was pretty old. It was between the bed and the window and created ‘dead space’ in between which could have been better used. The toilet is small and only one person can use the shower or wash hand at one time as the source of water has a splitter for either use. I didn’t use the onsen. The car park is free. They have washing machines and dryers. That was good but you must pay ... fair enough. I stayed in another route inn hotel at Yokkaichi the next day. The restaurant and menu are the same in both hotels! See my review on the latter. It was much better. For someone with smaller luggages, it might be a good hotel. …
Good service and room size is quite big compared to similar japanese hotels. We had one baby with us. Enough room. +Price/quality ratio ok. + Shuttlebus service provided. Maybe offered from stations to hotel im advance.
This was one of our favourite hotels in Japan. Rooms a good size, clean and modern. Vending machines on our floor so easy to get a quick drink. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. Staff were very helpful in booking a taxi for us, tried their best with speaking English with us.
Stayed in this hotel with my husband Oct 12-20, 2016. the room was clean, they have daily cleaning routine, staff were courteous, helpful and made effort to understand simple english, breakfast were superb, restroom is high tech, with new toiletries everyday..Surroundings are clean, there is ample parking for visitors, location is almost perfect. there is a supermarket/shopping center across the street, variety of restaurants within reach.
This hotel is a normal Japanese hotel based North of the centre(around 10 minutes walk). Staff were very supportive and made every effort to try and speak English. Hotel room was modern, very clean, comfortable and not too small, unlike the bathroom - which was your standard tiny capsule type room with 4ft bath with shower fed directly from basin mixer tap. Breakfast was not really aimed towards Western guests, more towards Japanese guests.
Hotel located in the northern part of the main street in Toyota and not in the busy area. I drove there and the hotel provided free parking. It took around 10 minutes drive to the busy area nearby with lots of eating choices. There was a local supermarket and a convenient store nearby. Room was very clean and tidy with all necessary amenities.
The staff at this hotel could not do enough for us. The language barrier was obvious but the girls on the desk were unbelievable and made our problems disappear. Room is comfortable and clean. Lovely restaurant and close to Toyota factory for tour. Free wifi is what every hotel should provide. This one does. Recommend highly.
We stayed for 1 night in Toyota city enroute to visit Asuke-Korankei for the autumn leaves. Overall friendly reception at checkin though minimal English is spoken in these small towns. Location of hotel was good, close to many restaurants, and a large supermarket. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the Toyota train station. The hotel provides free and spacious car park if you driving. The rooms (less than 20sqm) are clean, quiet and adequate at this price point though toilets are small. Free breakfast was inclusive of the room and was adequate though not lavish. We book the room thru a 3rd party website (hotels.com) as hotel does not have any English website for booking. Would gladly stay here again when I am in town. A good restaurant (izakaya) I would recommend is Mameuo Toyotaten @ G Sevens building 4F, 1-23 Wakamiyacho near the Toyota station.…
Rooms are super tiny, it's like living in a closet. I do not recommend for people used to western standards. The sink is half in the shower, actually shares the same line with the shower. This is in no way the #2 hotel in toyota city!!
