This review is only for the spa on the 2nd floor of the Grand Hotel in Iwata City. I did not have a room reserved, but only visited to bathe in the spa. The hotel is located at the top of a hill on National Route 1 and is very easy to find. There is a very large parking lot,...

I was biking past the hotel and decided to stop there for a night. Hotel staff were very courteous and nice, they even allowed me to keep bike in the separate room designed for such things and they did not mind my dirty road clothing or sporty look although atmosphere was very cozy. I was at Iwata on a business trip to my parent comapany Yamaha (YMC). The hotel is located conveniently near to the offices (various) in Iwata. The rooms are small but very well furnished with all amenities. The food is good and most important, very frindly staff.
