We asked for a quiet room and were given one on the first floor with views of the gardens and the sea. The room was very big, as was the bed. The bathroom was a wet room well equipped with two types of shower. We stayed half-board, and while the breakfast was plentiful, it was rather high-priced. This may be...

This review is simply for the restaurant We have stayed in the area many times, the setting is wonderful, that's the GOOD ! The restaurant service is abysmal, in 25 yrs of visiting France amongst the worst, that's the BAD ! Having booked and arrived were told by in no uncertain terms by the manager "impossible", protesting that we had...

We pulled up at the rear of the hotel. This gave us a bad first impression, it was very run down, and untidy. Once inside it is acceptable. Wheelchair friendly. It was quite the night we stopped, which felt un used, and lifeless. The staff were a little standoffish. We returned after dinner, about 22 hrs and were initially refused a...

If you want peace and looking after this place is a haven. Beautiful surroundings wonderful attentive staff. Good room . Excellent food. We will return soon. If you want entertainment not for you. A ferry is available to the lovely town of La Croisiac,a short trip from the hotel. The only minute downside is there should be more choice for...

First of all I would like to say that there is nothing 'wrong' with this hotel. The 'room' we stayed in was quite big and was more like an apartment with two rooms and a bathroom (no kitchen). It's well used but clean. The view from our rooms was very nice, with a nice view of the bay. Everything was...

Hotel is well run and offers good food. Most impressive feature is the beautiful sea views by virtue of its location at the end of a long peninsula. Property is next to a sanatorium and some patients dine at the hotel but this was absolutely not a problem, Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is at the end of a long road . Attractive it most defiantly is not ( on the outside ) looks like a motel .But smart inside, rooms are spot on ( on the inside) strange on the outside the whole site is strange . So the question is would we, there were 6 of us go again,...

Hotel de Pen Bron - situated on a delightful peninsula about 3 miles from La Turballe, and with a 15 minute "navette" ride across the sound to Croisic, a beautiful fishing village - is designed for disabled guests. The doors open automatically, the lifts are wheelchair sized, there are no carpets and the bathrooms are all like "wet rooms" with...

The location is idyllic: very peaceful, with sea on three sides, lovely woods and a boat shuttle across to La Croisic as a fishing town. The staff were very friendly & helpful, and food was outstanding. The hotel has bikes you can borrow and there are some beautiful cycle paths, while you are surrounded by gorgeous scenery & picturesque local...

Set in an amazingly quiet position with stunning views. Public areas are nicely decorated but bedrooms could be more sumptious. Hence I thought the price was a little steep for the room - 130Euros for a room with sea view - no breakfast included. Dinner was very good in the restaurant offering lovely views. Hotel has been adapted brilliantly for...
