Myself and my partner went here for lunch on the 18th of November, you have a choice of eating in the Hotel or in the Cafe Bar next door which is part of the hotel. The menu contains a selection of hearty pub favourites, all of which are generous sized portions. We both opted for the fish & chips and...

Stayed one night while visiting friends. I know this hotel isn't claiming to be great, but the damp smell, the almost impossible to lock door, both wardrobe handles falling off in my hand, TV not working, ripped bedcover did put us off a bit. The breakfast was good enough, when it finally did arrive. Not great, don't think we'd stay...

The staff are friendly, the menu is quite varied and the prices are very reasonable. We ordered a couple of sandwiches which were very good and fresh. Along with them came crisps, a vegetable garnish and potato salad which was delicious. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal on a pub lunch.

Stayed here over night as was partaking in a sporting event near by. Room we clean and adequate although it did smell a bit foosty. Bed was a bit lumpy but I got a good nights sleep. Bathroom large had a bath and a shower over bath. Soap and shower gel provided. Tea and coffee facilities provided in room but...

We ended up at the Gordon Arms for lack of competition - the area is very thinly populated. However, the food was excellent. Must be a great cook in the kitchen and the service was excellent and very friendly. I had the tasty mushroom crostini as a starter and the creamy tagliatelle as a main while my husband had the...

I was in the area and as I had no signals I couldn't book a room with my phone. My customer ran me into Huntly and showed me The Gordon Arms so I walked in off of the street. I asked if they had a single room free and the answer was yes and I liked the price so I...

We had a really nice lunch consisting of a toasted sandwich at a great price. The service was good and the food was great, just what we needed. Would recommend for lunchtime and the ambience was cosy and warm.

Having booked in was given a room key. When we went up to the room there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. Decided to make a cup of coffee whilst thinking about what to do and the milk curdled as soon as added to coffee. Went down and complained and was moved to another room. This was a bit cleaner...

This hotel is really pretty awful. The room itself was small and very dated. We couldn't work out how to lock the door and didn't have time to ask.The bed was extremely uncomfortable and felt damp when you got in. There was nothing extra in the bedroom - NOT EVEN SOAP! I was really rather shocked that a bar of...

Worst Hotel I've ever visited. Think this Hotel was last decorated in the 80's and has never been touched since. Although staff very helpful, no part of my stay was enjoyable. Couldn't get the room door lock to work easily, shower in room had no power and although there was plenty hot water, I'd have been better having a wash...

Disappointing when a guest stays for more than one night and the first indication we have of any problems (despite asking during and at the end of the stay) is on a review site. Given the previous reviews, and bearing in mind that we are a 2* commercial hotel I would respond as follows. The room in question has a...
