Stayed here for 2 nights late December. Arrived early and used the spa before checking into our rooms. Had a nice lunch then checked in. The room had a fabulous ocean view with extremely comfy beds! Joined a Les Mills lesson in the gym with locals which was professionally done! Really great! Relaxed in the large outdoor jacuzzis before having a good risotto for dinner. Next day played table tennis, had a great Wagyu burger for lunch, another Les Mills lesson, relaxed in the indoor bade pool and had a lovely local fish with chips ( chunky wedges) for dinner! Delicious! Next day had the breakfast which was very good, especially the local seafood and Kamakura ham sand sausages. Went to the gym before checking out at noon. We had BLT lunch then used the jacuzzi and lounge until 4pm! I really recommend this place as a place to relax, refresh and reinvigorate! Next day

We decided to venture out for the first time since Nov 2019. The hotel is well prepared to keep its guest safe. The staff took great care in dealing with us. The staff and the facility were well prepared and made us feel welcome and safe during our entire stay.

From checking in: Mr. Kimura to checking out: Mr. Aziz, cannot be made to feel More Welcomed. Ms. Anna Masuno in lounge and Ms. Goto in dinning were so lovely and definitely made this short stay very memorable. Thank you very much Everyone. Will be back again soon. We stayed at Hilton Odawara with my family at mid March. The food and snacks in the lounge were terrible...these food run short quickly because there were a lot of guests in the lounge even though no staff was there!! I know this COVID situation , but there were many people to take care of the breakfast in the morning. Some of them should be in the lounge to maintain the room clean and to refill snacks and drinks!!!

We have been to the Hilton Odawara several times, both pre and post Covid. We love the hotel for all the amenities. We try to take advantage of all the resort has to offer. There really is no need to leave the property. The staff is always friendly and helpful however the last few visits it seems like there are never enough staff especially at the front desk which ends up in lines to check-in, lines for breakfast, etc making it hard to social distance. There is also no staff to welcome guests at the entrance or help with bags if necessary. Pre-covid this was not the case so it may be the result of cutting back on staff which is understandable but something I do not find at other hotels. The staff is very good however about doing frequent temperature checks and reminding guests to use hand sanitizer. This made me feel very safe when dining in the hotel. One other issue I have is the lack of coffee in the rooms. At this level of a hotel to not even offer a package of instant coffee is quite disappointing. There is a hot water and tea pot with instant tea packets but no coffee. I woke up to realize there was no coffee in the room in the morning. I called down to the front desk to ask and was told that I would have to come down to pick some up (this is where the lack of staff is an issue). There was only one staff at the front desk and the phones were ringing and ringing and not being answered as he was trying to help me get a cup of coffee. He was quite friendly but overwhelmed. We really do love the Hilton Odawara and plan on visiting again soon. The rooms are spacious and the view is absolutely incredible. The points I mentioned are quite minor but just things that I have noticed on our last few stays. We look forward to going back.
