We stayed here overnight in October and had dinner in the Restaurant. We had a really first class evening. The Hotel is small with only 12 bedrooms but the quality and service is superb. The bedroom was very tastefully decorated and was very comfortable. Dinner was simply exceptional, excellent choice and brilliantly cooked and presented. Breakfast in the morning was... More

Stayed here for a night in September 2016. Super spot being in a quiet location just a mile or two from the Skye bridge so very convenient too. Room absolutely fine, with everything you need, and restaurant good. although not so many simpler options. Lounge bar pleasant and also a very friendly and helpful owner/host who we met after breakfast.... More

This is an older building with a tendency to creak but the staff are welcoming and efficient and the food is very good indeed. The steak salad I had was memorably good and was one of the best meals I have ever had. The surroundings are good and it is nice to be able to wander around in the evening.

Stopped here on our last night of our trip. It was a wild and windy night and we received a warm welcome. Our room was overlooking the sea and was spotlessly clean with really nice bathroom and comfy bed. We had stayed here in 2004 and it was good to see that it was still a lovely place to escape... Very good location close to the shore with outstanding views over the sea to Skye. The hotel is like a large modern house and is spotless in all areas. Our bedroom and en-suite were well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Spacious residents' lounge and dining room. Excellent breakfasts and friendly, helpful service and good, secure parking. An excellent base... More

My extended family - British and American - and I stayed here on a Saturday evening. Lovely sea views in those rooms facing the sea. The breakfast was fairly extensive and pleasing to both sides of the pond. My mom and mum particularly enjoyed the lovely flowers/gardens of the hotel. And all the staff were really nice and friendly, and... More

We have been staying for a few days. Very good location nice clean rooms and good breakfast. A bit early though have to eat by 9 so not able to get up to late. Staff very polite and friendly. There's not much to do around the hotel/town so not for people who are looking for lively things. It suits us... More

This is a very good hotel and restaurant. We had a room facing the loch which was quiet and dark (at night), just how we like it. A very functional bathroom with power shower and instant hot water. The restaurant was excellent and the chef made me a fruit salad for desert which was the very best I have had.... More
