Stayed here last Thursday night with two fellow motorcyclists on way up to John O'Groats. Excellent guesthouse and delightful host. Very comfortable bedrooms with en suite shower in one and nearby shower room& bathroom for other. Beautiful views of Dornie Castle-great breakfast next morning set us up for long ride northwards! Highly recommended!

Spent one night here, during a photography road trip. Booked via email. Communication was very quick and friendly. On arrival I was greeted very nicely by the lady of the house. I was shown to my room and asked to fill in registration card and breakfast order. Both were to be handed back at my convenience. My room was clean...

very well run B&B which we would use again nothing out of place and fine breakfast, well presented rooms and showers, tea making tray and biscuits good chats with our host quiet, easy to find, eating places a mile away, fine craft bakery 100m.

The host is the rudest and most bad tempered individual you are ever likely to meet in a guest house or B&B. There are many similar stories on Tripadvisor of extreme rudeness and angry outbursts from the host and all should be heeded before booking here. We phoned to say we were running late and were told to "get here"...

We stayed for one night in Room 4, seems to be the only one without a castle view but had a nice mountain view. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. One thing I like is a sink with no obstructions so that you are free to rinse after shaving. This one had a great sink, the best I...

The rooms are good, amenities are ok. However, the hosts literally threw us out of the property after 10 AM saying it is B&B and you can come back only at night. The breakfast was good quality and rooms were clean

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good. In fact, the facilities deserve to be rated "excellent," but lodging is more than being handed a key. The hostess barely tolerated showing us to our room and was then unavailable when we had a question. Unlike most lodgings, I did not feel welcome to be outside of the room...

Hosts were unfriendly unlike other hostels or guesthouse that i have stayed. Overall, the rooms were fine, just that it was so cold at night and the radiator wasn't working at all. All of us were shivering throughout the night and didn't have a good sleep in the end. When we checked in, we had to fill up forms and...

In line with other one star reviews I was appalled by the "our house" attitude. Don't run a b and b if you want total silence in your house. Unhelpful owners. No duvet. Cold room. Inflexible rules and regulations. Not bad value but annoyingly bossy. Three nights was more than long enough. Poor service and attitude.

The area surrounding the guesthouse is absolutely stunning and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. However, the proprietors were the rudest people we have encountered on our month long trip in the UK and Ireland. On the first morning we in the sitting room and the owner, Paul, brusquely told us "...you have to leave now! We like to...
