We (family of 3) are just finishing up a week skiing trip staying at Silver Horn. It has been perfect for what we wanted - economical accommodation in a perfect location. Our traditional Japanese style room was small but more than adequate and we quickly got into the local groove of packing up our futon bedding in the morning. The... More

Small hotell located 50 m from the liftstation.4-5 minutes to walk to the center for restaurants. The hotell was so good that we extended our stay from three to six nights. Extremely helpful staff that always were ready to give advice. The hotel also serves delious food and you can get typical Japanese dishes. Would definitely recommend this to friends... More

Value for money was good with continental breakfast included in the price. The location was fantastic - second to none right across from gondola (see photo). Staff were always helpful assisting with all of our requests. Fluent Japanese and English speaking staff members made our trip easy with very limited Japanese. The rooms are traditional Japanese tatami style rooms with... More

This review is long overdue but as we're thinking of returning in 2016 it's timely to say we stayed there in January 2014 and were very pleased. It's very simple and basic but that's its virtue. Clean tidy and comfortable. No tvs/dvds in the rooms and shared bathrooms but the onsens and great location make up for it and you... More

Very close to the gondola for a cheap price. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. A little walk to get food in the evening but it was manageable. A tip if you go to Myoko, go see the Monkeys on a bad day. However, if the weather is good during your... More

Dont really write reviews but felt compelled to this time. I moved into silver horn from another hotel I was staying at in Myoko only for the fact it was a little cheaper and the location was by far better. It's directly opposite Anakora konko resort . I was blown away that for a little over 60 bucks au I... More

We (party of two) stayed at Hotel Silver Horn from 29th Jan - 10th Feb 2015. What a truly wonderful place to stay in Myoko. Ideally located being a very short walk across the road to the main Gondola and the Myoko Shuttle Bus. Nori the manager is one of a kind. Incredibly helpful, kind and polite, a theme which... More

Our group stayed here for 9 nights and it was perfect. It's a great hotel located only about a 1 min walk from the main gondola (or maybe 3 min in ski boots). Also, the bus stop for the free shuttle to the other Myoko ski resorts is literally across the road. The rooms were clean and tidy and were... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Silver Horn for 12 nights. We were two families traveling together with young children. We had an amazing stay! Nori the manager is without doubt one of the most fabulous hotel managers - nothing was too much trouble and he helped with many things (calling local restaurants to check if open, checking with the tour... We had fantastic time at Silverhorn with 5 night stay. Excellent location across the road from chairlifts, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, particularly manager Nori-san. Nothing was too much to ask for him, he even gave us a ride to train station! He was just outstanding and a really lovely person too. He speaks good English. Easy 10 min stroll... More
