Staff was very friendly, helped us over and above what one can expect. Rooms are simple but clean. The onsen felt very genuine and was an interesting experience. Faveourable location in the middle of the village close to everything.
We were very surprised when we got to our accommodation. We knew it was traditional Japanese, and it sure is, but we were charged absolute TOP dollar through Booking.com. It is not a five star hotel, it is a hostel.

Warm & welcoming traditional family owned and operated authentic older style hotel. A very good 100% Onsen. The family are very nice friendly folk who produce and serve food that is good value for money. The masseur is amazing who has magic in their hands.
