Most unfortunate that you were on standby and that you did not get an opportunity to get around because you didn't have transport. We do however have regular buses that travel to the local village and city centre, which might have given you the chance to see and use the local amenities, perhaps we might have to provide more timetables...

Not set in a beautiful location as working vehicles yards round about but okay if you are not looking for scenery. I stayed two nights in a rather tired room that had not been properly cleaned for some time - dust on the carpets in the corners and behind the bed head. The carpet was clearly not hovered since the...

We went here for their Sunday high tea special and were not disappointed. For a set price you get toast, a main course and then cakes with tea/ coffee. The main course portions are not small at all. The steak pie was tender and tasty. I had the stuffed chicken and it was moist and flavourful. The cakes were delicious,...

Stayed there for 3 nights ,accompanying my husband who was working. Room 284 was large and spotless. Loved the free wifi! Bed was a bit on the firm side for my liking but more than acceptable. Only downside was the lack of a "Do not disturb" sign to hang on the door. Each morning, after my husband had left for...

Stayed here while visiting my partners family as was just up the road. Good location from a travel perspective, easy to get to from major routes and difficult to miss. We arrived quite late at night but still within the check-in window, around half past 10, and approached the main reception with nobody present. An argument was taking place in...

The team at...
