We booked ahead and arrived midweek on a Tuesday in October. A wecome stopover venue during our Shimanami Kaido cycling tour. Only one other couple staying. Very comfortable tatami room with extra matresses if one is not enough. Weak wifi. Shared bathroom facilities which is typical in a minshiku. Excellent dinner and breakfast provided. Overall cost of about A$150 for...

We slept like babies in our super comfortable double futon beds until the other guests woke up ridiculously early and started...

We recently rode the Shimanami Kaido bike paths along the Inland Sea from the Japan mainland at Onomishi all the way to Shikoku Island. Ideally the ride is a 2-day experience, so that you have time to explore the islands you traverse. The perfect place to stay in the middle is the Nagisa Inn. We booked it at the train...

“They have at least 1 en suite room, otherwise the bathroom is down the hall: western style toilet is upstairs, Japanese style toilet downstairs.”
