We stayed 4 nights and had a great time!! The Posada has very nice and clean rooms, the staff is very friendly, attentive and helpfull. And the food was very delicious and varied, even I had special diet requests which they fulfilled perfectly. For lunch and dinner always 3 courses and everything is selfmade! Also all 6 outings we had... More

Perfect light, abundant wildlife ( look out for Geoffroy's Cat) and beautiful sunsets . I won't repeat all the things others have said, this is not a place to be on a diet though. The only piece of advice I would offer is bring all your lenses. We only brought our 70-300 and it led to some frustration.

A small beautiful lodge in the heart of the wetlands. Perfectly situated in lovely gardens, a fairly large pool with comfortable seating around and shade. The twice daily trips were just fabulous. We saw loads of different birds, caimans and capybaras. In fact one just had to take a trip to the end of the dock to see a caiman... More

We (two parents and two kids – 8 & 10 – all passable Spanish speakers) arrived at Aguape Lodge (AL) by way of an overnight Flecha bus from Buenos Aires, which dropped us in Mercedes at 6:00am, where we were met by Raphael, AL's manager, who drove us 2.5 hours (mostly on a dirt road) further to the Lodge. The... More

We loved our stay at Aguape. It is perfectly situated right on the water, the garden is lovely and full of birds, and capybaras wander in from the water (if you are lucky) and eat the grass in the garden. The tiny village of Carlos Pelligrini is a few minutes walk. We had a few issues, otherwise it would have... More

Posada Aguape is a small place in a small settlement in a remote region of Northern Argentina. It takes 4 hours to reach it from Posadas Airport, the last three hours of which are by dirt road. It has its own jetty on the lagoon which not only makes access to the Ibera Wetlands very easy, but also means that... More

This was an excellent lodge to stay in Ibera' wetlands. The room was clean and the staff very attentive. The lodge is located in a very quite area adjacent to the lake. The food was very good and the included excursions were also very interesting, especially for bird-watching enthusiasts. There is nothing to complain about this lodge.

What an amazing ezperience we had here! After checking in we jumped in a canoe at the end of the pier within minutes we came across capybara and caiman on the beautiful lagoon. For the next few days we just relaxed and soaked up the amazing tranquility. Each day we went out on the lagoon and experienced the wildlife and... More

Agape Lodge is a simple but very elegant colonial posada. The rooms are large and airy opening onto a terrace with direct access to the garden and pool. The weather was wonderful during our stay so all meals were served in the open air dining area where we shared breakfast with the amazing bird life. All the food is freshly... More
