Clean room with quality linen. Spoiled by; Room overlooking noisy car park. Room situated next to a constantly banging fire door. Stranger given our door key and let himself in to our room at 11:00pm. Frightening experience. Parking spaces limited, so worried that this would be difficult if arriving late. Walls so thin that kept awake by snoring guest next...

Had dinner at the Normanhurst on Saturday night , for my father in laws birthday . I have to say it was faultless, steaks cooked to perfection , Rupert the pianist played and the staff sung Happy Birthday and the whole experience from start to finish really was a treat . A real pleasure to sit and thoroughly enjoy a...

Enjoyed 3 nights here. We were in the midern extension at the back of the hotel. Our rooms were a reasonable size, plenty big enough for our needs. Beds comfortable; nice, modern bathrooms with a good shower; good sized tv set; tea/coffee/biscuits; ample storage space; lovely view over the gardens; breakfasts with plenty of choice; staff were lovely, friendly, obliging...

Went for a treat on Bank Holiday weekend Sunday lunch. Lovely dining room, good efficient service. Lovely food, recommend the Normanhurst special with superb crackling and home made Yorkshire puddings! Definitely go back for lunch again.

Lovely relaxed setting for a Sunday lunch. Excellent portions and lovely food, wish I could fit in more. You never leave hungry. Great value for money. House wines are an excellent standard and love relaxing in the conservatory after the meal. Great family location

A Handy location on a bus route and close to the Metro. Lovely, welcoming staff. An old building, in need of repair, but kept clean in all public areas. Our twin room was a little small but it was fine for an overnight stay.

Family run hotel that was very welcoming. Food was nice, albeit menu (in my view) was limited if you are staying more than 2 nights. My room was in the extended wing and overlooked the fantastic garden, which had several seating areas. My room was a good size and had a desk area, so working was easy. Wifi worked very...

Staying for two nights whilst exhibiting at the Great Northern Dive Show (Event City - around 5 miles away), so quite a handy location. The room, though small, was quite comfortable and clean, with a good shower in the en-suite and very comfy bed. One question - Why do hotels feel they have to festoon their beds with cushions...? Unfortunately,...

We stayed here the night before flying out on our holiday. The hotel is in a great position close to the airport 15 mins approx. The staff were very helpful and friendly and its great value for money. We would use again if flying from Manchester Airport.
