We stayed at this Ryokan for three nights on our honey-moon. The place itself it lovely. Classical Japanese rooms, nice Onsen and the option to go to an even nicer option at their sister hotel. You will definitely be able to relax here. While the Ryokan is great by itself, the food is at least as great if not even better. We had a different menu of beautiful and tasteful Japanese food with lots of local flavors every evening. The staff is very kind and provides the best service you can wish for.

Just like what the name says, all the rooms have a view of the rotating bridge. The ryokan is right at the start of the Amanohashidate sandbar so it's very convenient. Bicycle rentals can ve found at the souvenir shop opposite or after you cross the rotating bridge. Of course, the dinner and breakfast did not disappoint. The staff can only speak basic english but I managed to get by as I can speak a little japanese myself. Didn't have much problems with check-in or meals arrangement. The onsen was quite tiny. There is an arrangement where you can use the bigger onsen at their sister ryokan (Monjusou) just 5 minutes walk away. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go over that night as it was closed.

It was a great experience at Taikyourou Ryokan at Amanoshidate, Miyazu. It was not a big place but its really cozy, service staff were really nice and friendly. Best of all, our rooms has an amazing view of the rotating bridge and the sea. The onsen itself was small but cute. For those who wants to experience the outdoor onsen, you can go to their sister hotel 2 min walk away.

Taikyoro is a beautiful place to stay in a pure japanese style. It is perfectly clean, the service is excellent and people are extremely kind. We also had very good dinner and breakfast (we had both twice) with delicious japanese food and experienced the internal onsen. Perfect position, very close to the train station and village center. It feels like home, or even better. Strongly recommended.

This ryokan (Japanese-style inn) is conveniently-located next to the rotating bridge of Amanohashidate, and a stone's throw from the Chion-ji, and the dock for the sightseeing ferries for Amanohashidate. As a result, almost everything is within a short walk from here. For those who are not familiar, Amanohashidate is considered one of the three classic views of Japan. Some rooms offer views of Amanohashidate, but the low height of the hotel means that you do not get a sweeping view, but just part of a view. Those who are hoping for a sweeping view should consider Genmyoan, which is located on a hillside. Rooms are compact, and the shower/bath and WC are very small. The in-room amenities are also few, with a small flat-screen television attached to a VCR (yes! a VCR!). Staff make your bed on the tatami-floor when you are having your dinner. The room package includes two meals (dinner and breakfast) served at the ground floor restaurant, and entrance to their own onsen (hotspring bath).
