We stayed here on New Year Eve and loved the hospitality. The room was huge, lush (carpeted) and well appointed. The sea view and the sound of the waves crashing right outside our room was such a dream, even in the cold winter. For new year, the hotel held a countdown with traditional song and dance performances and lucky draws. There was toshikoshi soba served (with okinawan soba) in line with Japanese new year tradition and at the stroke of midnight, there was sake for all hotel guests. Amenities: - free parking. There’s ample parking as the hotel has different areas blocked out for hotel guests - convenience store downstairs with souvenirs but also sells drinks. Otherwise a family mart is within 10 mins walk at Best Western Hotel - buffet breakfast had a huge variety of Japanese food and cooked food. Also had some new year food which we thoroughly enjoyed. It’s best to come here with a car. There are no restaurants nearby other than those in the hotel. We found this local gem called Nagumagai restaurant nearby (about 5-10 mins drive). It’s a typical Chanpuru restaurant with stir fried dishes, noodles and sashimi. Their walls were filled with photos of famous politicians and celebrities visitjgbt he restaurant.

Beautiful hotel with clean and spacious room, overlooking the beautiful ocean beyond the balcony. We simply love this place. There are sufficient parking lots, and additional lots across the road for hotel guests. It's nice to walk along the serene beach. The hotel staff are very friendly and it was very nice to be greet warmly when we were return to hotel in the night. The buffet breakfast was a nice and yummy spread. Will definitely be a place to stay again.

This is a great hotel to base out of for visiting the mid and northern Okinawa. The rooms are spacious, clean and overlook the lovely bay. Great view! Only downside is that in winter, the sea and the pool is off limits. But with the water being so cold, I doubt anyone will miss swimming during winter. Great hotel. There are good restaurants nearby also so access to good food is easy.

Rooms were huge with ample space for luggage or even an extra bed. There was a balcony to enjoy the sea view and the balcony doors were firm and didn’t rattle even though the winds were strong. Room was nicely designed and new. However the aircon in the room would turn itself off after awhile. Hotel is 5 mins walk away from some restaurants selling local okinawan cuisine. We enjoyed both restaurants on each night esp shimaakari. Breakfast was nice though one of the staff was quite rude to my husband when he asked where he should pay for the breakfast as ours wasn’t included in the price. We were quite surprised as the Japanese are known to be polite and have extremely high standards of service. The reception staff were great though but it’s small blemishes like the above that made what could have been a great hotel only good.
