Convenient, clean, cheap. If you're just here overnight, this is great. Super close to the airport too! Not too far from Namba station if you take the express or limited express. There's also a convenience store nearby!

This was my first visit to Japan abs and I stayed at this hotel as a solo traveller. The hotel is a 3 minute walk frim thw train station, and us situated in a quite road abs an area u felt safe in. Local shops, convenience stores and restaurants serving good food are close by. Staff at the hotel were very polite and accommodating and communicated in English as much as they could as i speak little or no Japanese. My room was in the 7th floor, small, but was ideal for me. Bathroom was compact, but had everything needed. The view from my room was very nice, especially at night. My highlight every morning was the gentleman serving breakfast. It was a pleasure going down to breakfast. He welcomed me wuth the biggest smile whilst serving my breafast and made ne feel so at ease as a lone traveller. He spoke a little English which was good. Breakfast was very nice. I tried the Japanese option once but preferred the western breakfast with different side options with the Omlettet. I would definitely stay hete agaun.

The hotel is a very short walk from the local train station and located on a quiet street. It is very easy (10 minutes) walk to the exceptional Kishiwada castle grounds, temple and gardens. Breakfast was included with our booking. You have a choice between traditional Japanese and Western. The traditional fare was right on the mark, very good! The room was small, but perfect for the two of us (we don’t expect huge rooms). It had a full bath that was remarkably small but clean and efficient. We really enjoyed our one night there and would recommend it if you want proximity to the train and attractions such as the castle.

I have stayed there about 12 times now over the last 9 years. Always had a good experience. I appreciate the friendly service by the staff. Although I am foreign and only speak very limited Japanese they are always trying their best to accommodate. The breakfast restaurant manager is particularly friendly and always recognize me when I come back after a while.

Very small rooms, but great service. The night manager was very helpful and made our stay much more enjoyable. The hotel itself is small and you cannot expect much, specially because that is not a particular touristic attraction for foreigners. So, if you have big luggages you might find a bit claustrophobic. But the tv has english channels and internet is free, besides, it is within walking distances for the main touristic points.

Thank you so much for staying here, and we hope you had a comfortable time. If the room is too small for big luggages, you could leave them to us at the desk and we'd keep them safe and secure. Also, we welcome customers from all over the world so we are willing to help you if you have any problems with your stay. Hoping you will stay here again. Thank you.

It is a great hotel distance from KIX, but as everyone here agreed, it is a little bit small room size. The semi-double room is actually designed for one people, it is a little bit small for two. The hotel located 26 minutes from Namba and 25 minutes to KIX by an express train (not the limited express one), 5 to 7 minutes walk from Kishiwada station. Well, if you did not feel it is small and compact, this is a good choice to stay.

Thank you very much for staying at APA Hotel <Kanku-Kishiwada>. We appreciate your informative comments. As you stated, our rooms are designed for compact spaces, and if you feel the Semi-Double room is a bit small for two, please ask for a bigger room. We also provide a Double room and a Twin room for two, and you can upgrade your hotel room based on availability. We are also glad to know our location met your expectations. Kishiwada Station is conveniently located to Kansai Airport, around 20 minutes by the Nankai Train Line. Additionally, our hotel is close proximity to Kishiwada Station less than 5 minutes walking. There are a variety of restaurants and a convenience store in the shopping arcade that is located between our hotel and Kishiwada Station. Tank you once again for patronage. We would be delighted if you stay with us on your next visit to Osaka. Arigatogozaimasu! Sincerely, APA Hotel <Kanku-Kishiwada>

If you are claustrophobic, this is not the hotel to stay in, or you may need to get a bigger room. We booked 2 non-smoking rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids, the rooms given were extremely small. One of them smelled of cigarette smoke, so we complained, and was given another room which is bigger. Besides the size of the room, everything works and everything is clean. The hotel is near the Kishiwada station, which makes it a good stop if you want to stay near the airport. Near by there's a shopping street and walked a little further, there's the CanCan Bayside Mall, and a supermarket.

Excellent staff at this nice little hotel. It is very close to the train station which is about 30 minutes to the airport and 50 minutes to downtown Osaka. The manager spoke excellent English and was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast restaurant has a Japanese or Western option and was very delicious. The hotel is nearby a nice covered shopping arcade, and is about a 10 minute walk from the nearby Kishiwada castle, which is definitely worth a visit. Nearby restaurants in the arcade are great, but I recommend you venture a bit further out and explore some of the more local oriented 'mom & pop' type restaurants in the residential areas nearby. Like most hotel chains in Japan, be prepared for a smaller than Western standard room, and a tiny bathroom. If you're a tall guy like me, don't plan on having a soak in the bath; but other than that, it was a great place to stay with excellent value!

The APA Hotel in Kishiwada is located only a hop, skip and jump for Nankai Kishiwada station. It is an excellent location - only 15 minutes from Kansai airport and 30 minutes from downtown Osaka. It is a great base for exploring Kishiwada, being easy walking distance to the castle and Danjiri Matsuri Museum. It is just off the main covered shopping strip and there is a Japanese bath house next door. The hotel itself is clean, adequate and reasonably priced. The rooms are small. It is probably a good idea to be aware that the beds and bathrooms are really 'Japanese' size. If you are large (be that tall or wide) then you may find the room, bed and bathroom sizes tough, particularly if you plan on sharing your room with someone else. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly. It rained while we stayed and they gave us complimentary umbrellas so that we could still enjoy walking around. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.
