The twins room is really big, with sofa!!! staff are nice. Breakfast is good. Although there is no shops near hotel, but just 5 mins walk you can go to opposite side of the JR station and found plenty of shops there, so the hotel is quite quiet. you can walk to Hikone castle from the hotel.

The hotel was across the street from the train station, and a short (10-15 minute) walk to Hikone castle. They also had convenient public parking, and there was as good range of restaurants on the other side of the station from the hotel (as well as one on the ground floor). I did have to look up online how to... More

Small hotel rooms, just enough room for essentials. Big plus is that it is within walking distance of the train station and it has beer vending machines on every floor! There is a good Japanese restaurant attached to the building as well. Can also walk to Hikone Castle which is a great place to visit.

Stayed with friend for one night in December 2015. Location: As other reivews point out, this hotel is located next to the train station, although it is on the "wrong" side - the East side of the station, and this side had almost nothing. But it's an easy walk across the street and walk through the station corridor to the... More

The Comfort Hotel is literally a minute from the station, although it is on the east side where there are few restaurants or shops. It is an easy walk to to the other (castle) side through the station. Comfort Hotel is a reliable budget hotel in Japan and this one is typical: larger than average rooms with a work space,... More

Comfortable hotel with reasonable price very close to train station. Parking is free. Also there is a big KS electronic shop, Aeon mall and various restaurants around location. It is more suitable for short stay for business stay. Rooms are so clean.

Very comfortable, standard business hotel in the tourist town of Hikone in Central Japan. I stayed two nights and had no problems during my stay. The price was excellent by Japanese standards and I was surprised that a small buffet breakfast was included. Wi-fi worked fine, room was small but perfectly adequate, and hotel is located less than a 5-minute... More

Located right outside the local rail station east exit, this hotel is very conveniently located. The room was very clean but also quite small. It's just a 15min walk from the Hikone Castle so it makes a very good place to explore from. The free breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable. I would stay here again no worries!

After having scoured Kyoto for accommodation I came across this little oasis in Hikone. It is a basic 'business hotel' but has everything you need for a comfortable stay in a very convenient location. There is a lot of new development in Hikone and the hotel is situated across the road from the train station. A new marriage parlour and... More

Inexpensive, decent straightforward hotel right next to the station though on the 'wrong' side of the track. The rooms are small but neat and have all the basics for a comfortable night. Staff pleasant and helpful and western/Japanese breakfast buffet was fine.
