Yunomine is an odd village, very small but interesting. The Ryokan Yoshinoya is fine and has a lovely outdoor onsen which is great after walking the Komano Kodo. Good dinner also. We had a nice room with our own facilities.

Nice place. A little dated but not a huge deal when your exhausted from hiking and all you want is a nice meal and hot shower. The ladies onsen is hot! REALLY HOT. Starting running cold water in it as soon as you get there...More

I will definitely be back! Between the wonderful onsen, gracious hosts and AMAZING feast, this place was a great place to relax from multiple days of long train travel. One of the highlights of my trip to Japan.

This is a family run place and the couple who run it are lovely. We arrived late at night and the man came to meet us at the bus stop. He also rescued me from hongu when my hike took longer than expected. The kumano...More
