This little hotel is situated in a decent location, relative to the centre of Alacati and the main roads towards other villages.

Rooms are rather basic, but clean. Probably slightly over-priced when reviewing overall sleeping comfort, size, amenities and poor quality of breakfast and overall service.

Upon arrival we had a first surprise as the room which we asked for- and which was promised in writing - was not available because the rather unprofessional staff had given this room away. The room offered to us was frontside street-level, which we declined and asked for an alternative. An alternative was proposed and accepted.
This was perhaps not a smart choice as this room was also noisy at night and early morning: at night the staff & friends regularly had drinks and conversations on the terrace and early morning was also a challenge as this room was next to the open kitchen, and staff did not bother to temper their voices and noise.

Initially we wanted to stay in "Tas Hotel" but happily it was fully booked and the lady told us to try at TashMekan Boutique Hotel. We were very happy to have been told about TashMekan Boutique Hotel. It's a piece of heaven for those who really want to relax. The personnel is very friendly. The rooms were nicely decorated but in case you are not a "nightbird" please ask for a room looking to the garden. And don't forget it's a boutique hotel with only 9 rooms therefore you will hear the ladies prepairing breakfast and of course "nightbirds" coming home early morning (rather weekends). All in all I sincerely recommend this hotel very much. The hotel is very near to Alacati village. And not to be forgotten: a tasty turkish breakfast is being served in the heavenly garden and of course 5 o'clock çay (tea) with freshly baked cookies. Please don't miss this hotel. More

“Make sure to avoid rooms on the street side, rooms next to the hotel entrance and the "suite" on the groundfloor due to noise (people, cars, a/c units).”
