What a lovely hotel, great value, pleasant and helpful staff . Rooms are spotless - bedroom modern . bathroom a little old fashioned but functional and very clean . Breakfast is fine , though some more fruit would enhance the choice . Location is excellent, beach and beach bar just across the road where good quality and comfortable sun loungers are provided for guests There's nothing not to like about this place
This hotel, right across from the beach, is showing its age somewhat, but the rooms are a decent size, the food is fresh and local, and the staff cares about taking care of their clients. I would have liked more lighting in the bathroom, and the fan was pretty loud, but overall it was quite pleasant.
In the morning breakfast is always the same. The butter is not fresh. No fresh fruit juice. There are not Italian specialties. The room is clean and toilet. The staff are friendly except one who is at the restaurant.
We stopped here for one night travelling between Tropea and Naples. The hotel is a large 1950s block which has been renovated and is a good place for an overnight stop but not very special. Staff were friendly and professional but spoke little English which was a surprise for such a large hotel. The bedroom itself felt a little tired and the a/c was temperamental; the bathroom was very nicely decorated. Breakfast was included which was continental buffet style and well replenished. The hotel has its own private beach across the road with sunbeds and sun umbrellas which was very pleasant.
Although I was perfectly satisfied with my stay here, I have to admit it's about time some refurbishment was carried out. The public areas look old fashioned and inadequate for a 4 star hotel. Our room too could do with a make over, as could the shower room. For WiFi, they still use the antiquated system of little scraps of paper giving a password with a 24 hour validity. The WiFi is poor. The staff were all extremely pleasant and efficient, especially the breakfast waiter, who made great coffee. I noted that sea view rooms on higher floors are about 30% more expensive. Maybe in the summer, the trees obscure the view. However, on the first floor, the fumes from passing traffic were really unpleasant. The double glazing muffles the noise quite well.
Run down noisy hotel which is poorly equipped. Staff was good though and so was the location. Breakfast was poor and the breakfast-room too. The hotel seem to have been built in the early 80-ies and has only seen basic maintenance since..
The hotel is perfectly located in a very central position in the town close to all amenities. It overlooks a small park and is directly opposite the beach. It was extremely clean and well run with friendly, polite, attentive staff.
This charming hotel is in a great location. The rooms are always pristine, the food is always lovely and staff always friendly. The rates were affordable and I would happily live here year round if I could!
We always stay here because it is perfect for a beautiful view with exceptionally clean rooms and friendly staff. On our last day in Sapri, they let us keep our luggage on site while we spent the day at the beach. Above and beyond.
I stayed at this hotel for several days recently during a long trip to Italy. I had a balcony room, overlooking a small park, directly in from of the water, in the center of town. It was a great room, and very friendly staff, at a great price. I liked it well enough to stay two extra days.
