Hotel Mediterraneo is a small and elegant 4 star hotel, directly on our private beach. We have 20 nice and comfortable rooms with private bathroom, LCD TV, telephone, minibar, automatically conditioning air and safe. All the rooms overlook the sea and a lot of them have got a wonderful balcony on the private beach or on the Gulf of Sapri. Our restaurant proposes a typical Italian taste, and we usually serve the dinner on the terrace in an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Every day our work is that to be happy our guest! We will wait for you to give you a new experience.

We stayed for more than a week in July 2017 and had a lovely stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely view to the sea ,the sunrise and sunset. We remember nice breakfasts with all we could wish for.. Most days we also had lunch. The private beach is very nice, , the staff were polite and welcoming and made it easy for us to have a memorable 3 generation familyholiday without any stress-:) We are coming back in June, this time alone and is looking forward to some relaxing days.

This hotel had very friendly staff and we found it excellent value. Our room had sea views and it is literally right on the beach. Quirky bathroom though! It's a short level walk into Sapri town where there are nice bars and restaurants. Didn't have chance to eat here as the hotel restaurant was closed but their wine was very good value. The owner recommended an excellent restaurant, made us a booking and gave us a discount card too. very helpful. Would stay here again.

My mum and I stayed here for a short break. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean with a lovely selection of food at breakfast and a gorgeous terrace. It is the perfect location. We had a sea view, the beds were very comfortable and there was a nice balcony with table and chairs to sit and watch the ocean and the gorgeous sunsets. It was easy to walk into the town from the hotel (approximately 15 minutes walking slowly). The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We really hope to return at some point in the future and we would definitely recommend.

We had a sea facing room with an uninterrupted ocean view. The room was comfortable, clean and, because the hotel was empty, very quiet. In fact, the hotel was closing for the winter the next day! I would imagine the place gets noisy during the summer season. The hotel has a direct access to its own private beach. Breakfast was good and Sapri is a 30 minute walk away. We would stay there again.

We needed a room for one night on our drive from Positano to Calabria and took TripAdvisor advice and stopped here. My only regret was not having more time to spend here! We got the ocean view room and the water was lapping just below us in this peaceful, scenic and extraordinary bay. What a view!!! Fantastico!! Beach is rocky but very pretty. Breakfast was simple but nice selection Room small and bathroom smaller but bed very comfortable...and a nice balcony with french doors and furniture. Rooms extremely clean and the staff friendly and Giuseppe was there to help at every point! GRAZIE a tutti!

I have been to the Hotel Mediterraneo twice. The first 7 years ago. The staff were extremely hospitable and the room we had was beautiful. Our balcony overlooked the private beach with amazing views over the bay of Policastro and to the mountains beyond. I returned in July 2014 and experienced some of the most amazing food I have had in Italy to this date. Compliments to the chef!! All dishes were typical of the Cilento region and the waiter service was impeccable. If I was visiting the area again I would definately stay here.

As a group of four we spent a wonderful time at the Hotel Mediterraneo. The rooms had sea views looking towards the melting horizon. The beach location is an absolute dream surrounded by mountains, this sheltered bay was perfect to relax and chill out. We ate at the hotel restaurant and sampled the exquisite Cilento food and wine, compliments to the chef. If you want a perfect place to holiday with excellent service and attentive staff and be surrounded in luxurious comfort choose Hotel Mediterraneo in Sapri, I thoroughly recommend it!

The owners and hotel staff were so hospitable and the place is kept very well. This was a very good deal: 90 euros per night for a room with a balcony over the beach with breakfast and dinner included. The food at the restaurant was decent. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with grape vines, fig trees, beautiful flowers and a private beach area. My room was very nice and had a terrace overlooking the beach. The housekeeping service does a nice job of keeping the place clean, but I would advise bringing your own hair dryer as the one in the bathroom is outdated and gets too hot quickly. Also, there is no wifi access in the rooms, only in the lobby area. The family went out of their way to accomodate me with everything from breakfast in my room to having pizza delivered for dinner. The town is not geared toward international tourists, but the family had a friend who rented me his personal vehicle for the day. The main part of town is an easy ten minute, beautiful walk along the promenade. You will find everything you need there, including the best gelato in the world at a little place called Carmigel. Everywhere I went, people were happy to try to understand my poor attempts at speaking Italian, and they often tried very hard to speak english. I didn't find communication to be nearly as much of a challenge as I thought it would be. My visit to this hotel was filled with charm and beauty and I would recommend this place to everyone.
