There are some good points about this hotel - the rooms are large and clean; the location is fine. However, there are major problems. The whole place is very dated inside, poorly decorated, with 1970s (maybe 80s) bathrooms. The Air Con is terrible - it does almost nothing, and you have to wait for "the manager" to switch it on (the woman at reception doesn't know how) - and the manager is never around. Leave the windows open and you get mosquitos inside. The breakfast was very mediocre - a couple of low quality pastries and some cheap cereals. Nothing substantial - no cheese, ham, eggs etc.

I've been in this hotel on August 2017 and it was a very pleasant and charming choice. The hotel is an old building very well restored with lot of charme. The air conditioned is not just a typical air condition, instead a humidity removal system that can fine refresh by respecting the environment and human people. One hint is to better ask for garantuee of fresh air ALSO into the second room of the family suite. Nice familiar atmosphere, with a special conduction thanks to the proprietary man. One only hint: ask the hotel to reserve on time a place on the beach at the very nice Lido Amantida, the best one very close to the hotel since on August is so hard to find a secure place with all services (on free beaches there are a lot of space also on August). One only "defect" is into the missing system to hang clothes/beach-towels out to dry. Ma ci ritorneremo sicuramente !!! Grazie al signor Francesco e la signora Grazia, a presto ! On arriving at Hotel del sole Plebiscito we were exceptionally pleased with The accommodation spacious and spotless with lots of charm. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to Please. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden with the sun in the afternoon and evening. The owner was even kind enough to drive us to Sapri train station. if I ever stayed in Sapri again I would certainly go back. I would recommend to anyone!

wonderful service, very familiar atmosphere beautiful and spacious suite with a special air conditioning system perfectly fit for the human body - we would have loved to take the room with us on our trip across Calabria lovely decorated and restored old building with up to date amenities close to the scenic route to Maratea nice boat excursions along the seaside - the owners help to arrange everything 3 steps from nice restaurants
