My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at Sani Pass Hotel, mainly to be able to travel the pass and perhaps play a round of golf. Sani Pass Hotel seemed the best option, compared to other establishments in the area. The room was reasonable, and seemed to have been upgraded recently. A small fridge in the room would be...

We are locals who decided to try the new menu since taken over by Premier Group. Our order was simple lunch with desert and 1 bottle of wine to share. The waiter did not know his menu or ingredients and the presentation was rather appalling. The chef did not show any pride sending our main menu out, that's for sure....

Dear Guest Cheryl, Thank you for taking the time to send us this review. The patronage of our local clientele is highly valued, and this is indeed a most disappointing read. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. We are in the process of making some much-needed changes to our product, and I hope that you will...

We went to Sani Pass Hotel to have lunch. After waiting 25 min to be served we approached the waiter and asked if we may see a menu. The waiter responded to us by saying "no, i am busy you must wait" and then walked off. Its astonishing that where there were only two other tables that the waiter couldn't...

Dear Guest Dylan B, Thank you for taking the time to submit this review, albeit a disturbing and disappointing read. This is indeed shocking service, and certainly not the standard we aim to achieve. Please rest assured that the staff member concerned will be re-trained as a matter of urgency. Further, I would really appreciate the opportunity to address this...

High prices, that do not equate to quality. Dinner time menu more like a pub fare offering. Staff are not guest focused. Filter coffee at Breakfast, weak and tasteless. The Breakfast is quite good, though. Booked a massage at the Wellness centre, again premium prices for lacklustre service. Premium Hotels, lower the prices or improve the quality...

I stayed at the hotel for one night after leaving Lesotho. The hotel featured lovely public areas and a great buffet dinner and breakfast. Don't miss all the puddings at the buffet dinner! The room was good, but the light switch for the bathroom was hidden behind draperies. And the bath had a funky step in the middle of it...

The hotel was re-named Sani Pass Hotel and Leisure Resort probably due to new management. It is located at end of paved section of Sani Pass Road which starts from Underberg and leads to the border with Lesotho 20 km away. Road condition after the hotel is good only for 4X4 transport for exploring the Maloti-Drakensberg Park covering a territory...

Stayed there this past weekend. Our second time there. The 1st was in the snowy season and we were impressed. Last weekend was warm and again the hotel was impressive. Lots to do, lots to relax with and the food is good. Will definitely be back as it is a magic place.

Now managed by Premier Hotels it has improved and apparently many more improvements are planned and the mountain bike trail will be completed by 1 October. The Staff are fantastic and super friendly and the food excellent. The only problem that I can foresee with a longer stay is that I would pick up weight.
