This was our second visit to Tigh Na Sgiath on their last two nights of the season and we’ll definitely be back for a third. Welcoming hosts from start to finish who couldn’t do enough for us, we stayed in the Speanoch room which was very cosy and had a great jet bath. Food was excellent and very well priced, we had considered going out for the second evening but both agreed we wanted to try one another’s courses from the previous night. Breakfast was excellent also with a great choice and hearty portions. Weather was pretty appalling both days but happily spent reading or with a dram in front of the big fire for a lot of it. Looking forward to a long weekend there again in 2022.

From the moment we arrived we couldn't complain about anything. Iain's warm welcome as we arrived his attention to detail, first class service and he always had time to make a fuss of Harris our four legged friend and always had a treat for him. The breakfast is 5 star and we had 2 nights with evening meals which were superb - everything beautifully cooked to perfection. Elaine is an excellent chef and I would recommend that you stay on a Friday and Saturday to sample the dinner. This was the second time we had stayed in 8 weeks and we will definitely be back in the Spring. Lovely lovely hosts who know how to treat their guests.

We are so pleased you chose and enjoyed your nights stay at Tigh na Sgiath as part of your honeymoon. There is so much to see and do in the Cairngorm National Park that hopefully if you return you will need to stay longer!

This is a stunning little hotel which was an oasis of tranquility and general loveliness on our trip to the Highlands. Iain and Elaine are fabulous hosts, they brilliantly tread the line of being wonderfully attentive without being fussy. The room was immaculate and gorgeous, our little dog was welcomed and adored running around the lovely gardens and the breakfasts were truly worth writing home about. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tigh na Sgiath to anyone and I am already looking forward to visiting again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Tigh na Sgiath. Stayed for 2 nights and were made to feel very welcome by Iain and Elaine. We stayed in Speanoch which is a lovely room with a large en-suite including a jacuzzi bath for 2 and a walk in shower. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and appetites. Enjoyed afternoon tea in one of the public rooms which have great views of the garden and beyond and make for the perfect spot to relax and pass an hour or two. Very dog friendly and has the added bonus of direct access to trails in the woods a short walk away. Beautiful house in a great part of Scotland to which we will no doubt return. Kevin, Karen, Breeze and Summer.

Thank you for sharing your (and Breeze and Summer's ) recent experience of Tigh na Sgiath. It is helpful to other dog owners to know that you found the hotel to be dog friendly and there was direct access to walks in the woods. Looking forward to being able to welcome you all again at some point in the future.
