Absolutely first rate hotel, from rooms to service to food. The house from the turn of the 19th century is stunning. The owners are lovely. There are beautiful sitting rooms for having drinks. The bedrooms are perfect.

A very warm welcome offered in this luxuriously appointed boutique hotel. Peaceful setting with red squirrels galore! Rooms with jacuzzi baths, very comfy four poster beds, dvd players and other little luxuries. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hotel is splendid - clean, beautiful decor, wonderful owners, Iaian and Elaine, delicious breakfasts and the cream tea is delectable - all baked by Elaine, We had a wonderful peaceful stay, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite is huge. We were in Speanoch room.

An absolutely wonderful old styled Hotel. Iain was the perfect host. The breakfast was great. We only spent a night there but could have done a week. Iain had travelled to Australia previously so we had a bit to compare. The place is immaculate with all needs catered. Highly recommend.

Tigh na Sgiath (pronounced "tie-na-SGEE") was the most delightful and elegant surprise of our two week stay in the UK. I believe it is the finest hotel I have ever stayed in. We booked only a single night, as we were on our way to Oban from Stonehaven, and did not want to make that drive all in one day....

Attention to small details at every corner of the hotel which exudes a feeling of warmth, richness and super homely old world charm. Its a bit of a royal touch right from the four poster bed in the room and antique furniture to the living rooms and dining hall. A very gentle host Iain. Starting from my communication with Elaine...

Highly recommend this lodging. We had the corner room - the Ballindalloch room which was very large with a beautiful sitting area. The bathroom was huge with all needed amenities. The owners were very accommodating and even let us schedule a tea late in the afternoon. The breakfast was great and having a glass of wine in front of the...

From the greeting as you arrive to the heartfelt thank-you as you leave, you are made to feel very welcome. The grounds are breathtaking and the hotel itself very tastefully decorated. The house is steeped in history and the decor reflects this....

Another wonderful find in Scotland. We were there for 3 wonderful nights and felt pampered every day we were there. We spent a little more than planned but are so glad we did. Out all day on walks and sightseeing, returning to Tigh na Sgiath was like coming home. We had the Ballindalloch room complete with amazing Jacuzzi bathtub where...
