We stayed three nights (four days) and in that time the room was not cleaned, nor the bathroom and the beds were not made. Apart from us doing them. Temperatures were in the mid 30's and there were no new towels offered. I gather Giorgio has left and so has the standard. What a pity to let it all slip...

We a family of 4 with grade-school kids set out our journey from Boston to Le Marche because we were interested in going some truffle mushroom hunting. Along our way we found Il Granaio known for their gastronomical delights. We stayed there 3 days and found our stay to be enjoyable, tranquil, and invigorating all at the same time. We...

We were told about Greg & Giorgio's B&B and 'dining' experience and decided to give Dinner a go. A reservation was made for us via our B&B hosts and we duly turned up. We were told prior to going that another group of peole were also booked in the same evening. This was not a problem for us, although you...

Our family of 5 took a Cooking Class at Il Granaio with Greg who is a wonderful chef, transplanted from the U.K. to Italy. We started the day by going with Greg to a local village market, where he purchased supplies for the class. Then back at Il Granaio we spent the day in Greg's kitchen - making Foccacia, Scampi...

There were six of us staying in a farmhouse nearby and as the visitors book had many references to Il Granaio we decided to book for dinner. Georgio and Gregg very kindly arranged an early evening meal for us as we had a five and a three year old with us plus we are vegetarians. This was quite the best...

Top tip for a successful trip to Le Marche, be sure to arrange at least one evening of fine dining at il granaio no matter where you happen to be staying locally. Although there isn't a restaurant, if you call some days in advance you may just find that Greg & Girogio can accomodate you one evening for a gastronomic...

Last July we spent some a week in Italy with our son. This is our second visit to Marche and also Il Granaio. Through our stays we have developed a friendship with Greg and Georgio and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marche. They are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts and dinners are supurb. The 6 course degustation is one of...

I made my first trip to Italy with my Aunt and Uncle, they have been exploring Italy for many years and graciously offered to let me tag along. On this trip they wanted to spend some time in the Marche. This lovely spot came at the end of our already wonderful trip and there could not have been a nicer...

If marche is Italy's hidden gem then Il Granaio is marche's. My wife and i spent 4 nights here in June and loved it. The region is beautifull with mountains in 1 direction, the coast in another and Il Granaio the perfect place to explore from. The service was exceptional, you're greeted with tea\coffee and homemade cakes on arrival. The...
