We arrived late , but Ayu was there to greet us with a cold towel and a warm smile . The villa sits on beautiful grounds with stunning flowers & plants , The pool area has enough sun beds and towels for all guests which all overlook the pool and the grounds . The infinity pool is just perfect to cool down in . By the pool is a very nice chilling area with rattan furniture and a huge table , which is undercover. We sat there most evening for drinks, and enjoyed listening to all the insects in the gardens . It was so beautiful at night . The dining table was big enough to sit 10 guests ,but additional seating is available. There is a fridge for guest to put drinks in by the pool. We had breakfast everyday and some lunches & dinners . Ayu and her team were incredible, nothing was any trouble , whatever we wanted we got . Always smiling and ready to help . The chef did an amazing job catering for us . There are 4 rooms plus a villa . We didn’t see inside the villa. But the 4 rooms are identical in layout. There is a king size bed with beautiful bedding, had the best nights sleep, so comfortable it looks out onto a courtyard with a beautiful water feature. The room is large with plenty of space , there is drinking water in the room along with a kettle for tea & coffee . The bathroom is connected by a sliding door which is outside , there are 2 sinks, toilet a bath which are undercover. The shower is amazing as it is outside and looking up at the stars at night is quite something. There is plenty of wardrobe space out here also . It’s the perfect place for a chilled week or two, we could have stayed longer . The team that look after Ambalama are so kind . It’s just heavenly staying here . We will definitely be back .

I recently had a wonderful 6 night stay at Ambalama with my sister. It was a fantastic setting around the pool area for a function that was held for approx 70 guests on one of those nights. Ayu and her team went out of their way to make our stay such a delight. Nothing is too much trouble .... from organising drivers, special meals, massages, and birthday cakes. As there are only a few villas we were usually the only people in the pool. Heaven! The pool is a perfect temperature and looks over to mountains and rice paddies. Only suggestion I could make would be for a mirror in the bedroom. There is a huge mirror in the outdoor bathroom but it gets a bit hot and sweaty out there. For somewhere to relax and if you wish, to be thoroughly spoiled, Ambalama is perfect.

Ambalama provided the perfect venue for spending a great time with friends while also enjoying some romantic evenings with your partner. The villa rooms are well appointed and very private and there are many wonderful public spaces to enjoy the views and the company of friends. The staff was delightful and accommodating to all reasonable requests and the food was divine. The Villa manager Ayu provided that personal and special touch that allowed us to also connect with Balinese culture. It was a truly magical experience

I am not a person who posts about services or locations very often, but I could not pass up a great recommendation for Ambalama! The care and attention at the villas is top notch. They are caring, compassionate and truly went above and beyond our entire stay! We had food sensitivities and they accommodated us are each meal. We arranged to have some services at the villa, such as massages. They made it happen in our private villa and made sure we were happy with the people who came. The driver that they hired to take us around Bali and show us the sights was wonderful and made sure we were able to see all the fun places that Bali has to offer. The bed was so comfortable that we came home and wished we were back on the bed in the villa!! We cant recommend Ambalama enough!!!

Back for the 8th time at Ambalama Villa Bali – because when you find paradise, you keep coming back for more! This place has become my Bali home away from home. From the beautiful interiors to the laid-back vibes by the pool, it's the kind of place where you can kick back in luxury flip-flops. The food? From local delights to international cuisine, the food here is a testament to the chef's artistry. Dining at the villa is not just a meal; it's a celebration of exquisite taste and culinary expertise. The staff? Pure class. They feel like old friends, they always make every moment feel effortless, like you're living your best Bali life. If relaxation had a headquarters, it would be right here. Roro

Ambalama Villa was absolutely fantastic. The place itself is gorgeous and just a 50m walk from the beach. The accommodation was beautiful and supremely luxurious, and Ayu and her team went above and beyond to make our stay special. I can't recommend Ambalama enough.

What a fabulous place. Clever blend of modern architecture and materials with traditional ones. Beautiful generous sized rooms with plenty of outdoor space. Ayu and her team looked after us so well, from the warm welcome, the catering, booking stuff for us - talk about being spoilt. Given how busy Canggu has become this is an oasis of calm.

The staff at Villa Ambalama were amazing and made our stay incredibly special. The location is beautiful and tranquil and just what we needed after our wedding in Nusa Dua. The Villa itself is a work of art and I think better than the photos represent on the website. We will definitely be back and special thanks to Ayu and her team!

We came to Ambalama for a intimate girls hen party & we really had a great stay! The service is top-notch, the facilities & the villa is amazing! What you see from the villa website & at tripadvisor are what you get. In fact, the picturesque padi field & the well-designed rooms & common area are better when you see it in your own eyes. The pool is big & you get a real swim. What is best during this trip is we get the whole villa for ourselves, & we really had all the privacy we look for. Ayu, the sweetest lady who see to all our needs during the stay, make us feel so much at home. We had massages & yoga arranged at the pool side, surrounded by the greenery & blue sky. Meals in-house are yummy, Chef Gede makes great comfort food. Will we all return? I'm sure we will!

Wonderful experience and overall landscape and interior are enchanting. Services from the staffs are good and alert to customer's request. The chef has also displayed good culinary skills and presentation.
