It was our first time to Hokkaido and first time to ski, including two kids at 6 and 8. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The ski lessons were well organised and instructed from beginners to intermediate levels. Snow was perfect. Food was delicious and divergent every day. The evening performances were unexpectedly professional. Good place to go with...

Our first time ever at any Club Med sites. Heard good and bad things about this brand and went with an open mind. Certainly not cheap but a lot of stuff included in the price. We are beginner skiers. The key objective of this trip is to let the kids learn and enjoy a sport that's beyond us adults. The...

A stay of contrasts! Fabulous snow & scenery! Staff were perfection, & special mention must go to Manuel who was unfailingly cheerful and polite for every mealtime, to Romy who cheered up bar time no end, to Nami whose aquarobics were infused with smiles & fun, to Amita who welcomed us & bid us goodbye with such care & attention,...

It is an excellent family holiday resort even with adult children with no experience in skiing or snow boarding. Classes are included in the bookings but can be overcrowded especially beginners 1 and 2. Also, the instructors (GOs) changes from year to year. In 2015 we had many excellent Aussie GOs, but in 2016, hardly any good ones and many...

This is one of the best hotels. Staff were great and extremely nice. Wouldn't recommend (as a kid) to go without someone to play with because it can be a bit boring. I went in the winter and skiing was great. The lessons are really good.if you are an awesome skier, then might not be what you are looking for.

This was a family holiday to celebrate my wife's "coming of age" - our three sons and their families added to 12 people, from age 3 upwards : 5 children and 7 adults. Our family has been experiencing Club Med villages since 1980, but all of the have been Summer resorts - this was the first venture to. Winter resort,...

The resort is very good for family skiing. Love the kids club. all the ski snowboard instructors are great! Food is better than yabuli clubmed. But the cleanness needs to improve, all the glasses were dirty, some with lipstick marks, disappointing. The heating in the room is too much.

It was our first family trip (2 adults, 5.5 year old and 2.5 year old) on a Club Med holiday and everyone had lots of fun! What this ageing resort lacked in hardware, it more than makes up for through the generosity, friendliness, and enthusiasm of its staff (aka GOs). This is a great place for kids and parents with...

Stayed 4 nights with family. The ski shop opens in the evening so you can head straight out in the morning. Stayed at the B wing so it was also just a lift ride down to get to our gear and walk out to the slopes. The slopes weren't crowded and the kids loved the mini club. Classes for the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Japan, the alternative winter sports world. Sahoro is a place of refinement, in full Japanese style. The microclimate that reigns over the island of Hokkaido, which has less rainfall and is cooler than the rest of Japan, ensures optimal snow cover for an intense skiing experience. And after all that skiing, revival is guaranteed, with the choice between Ofuro, traditional Japanese hot baths, and Canadian outdoor baths. Indoors you will find a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas. ... more   less
