Absolute Niseko was an absolute gem of a location and price! I cannot rave on more about the central location! But the creature comforts such as comfortable beds to sleep in and semi noise proof walls were left to be desired! We had a private 3 person room during our stay and it was large enough for us and did the job, but dam the beds were awful! Between the poor quality of the beds and the paper thin walls it was a hard to catch a good nights sleep after a long exhausting day on the mountain.

We stayed here in Feb 2018 for 5 nights and it beat our expectations. We got a private room that came with two twin beds. The room was small and basic, but for what we paid, we felt it was worth it. The beds were comfy, the room was cosy and warm thanks to floor heating and there was ample closet space. The room was pretty soundproof, so you don't hear your neighbors. Toilets are clean and you meet interesting people if you hang out in the common area. There's ski storage room for your gear. The location is close to the slopes and near a wide variety food. Try the ramen right opposite the road and the cheese tart cart just a few steps away. The only downside is the free breakfast. It's way too simple and basic. Buy groceries from the store and cook it up yourself.

Ok, where do I start.... Let's start with the positives. The best thing about this place was the closeness to the ski lifts. You didn't have to walk far to strap on and your off. That was the only good thing about this place. Next.... I was totally disgusted with the show they were running. Upon arrival, the first impression was, this place smelled pretty bad.

If you're in Niseko for the snow then this is a great place to stay. The staff are enormously helpful - the location is perfect (ski out & a 2 minute walk back). The room was very clean as were all the amenities. If you're looking for good value for money then stay here....and the breakfasts are good too.

위치최고! 직원들친절! 조식은최악! First of all, the location of this facility is absolutely awesome! It's only 5 mins from the slope. That is the biggest edge of this.... hmm... let me call it a dorm. Anyways, the hosts and employees are westerners, so they speak English which is rare condition in this town with this price range. They are very nice and kind. But the breakfast was not recommendable. This was my third visit to Niseko, and the complementary breakfast was always fantastic with Japanese hosts. Home baked bread, Japanese traditional home food, or simple but nice American breakfast!! So I actually expected the similar quality of foods but maybe my expectation was way too high, or their breakfast was just terrible.

Excellent location with Ace Family lift right outside. Comfortable, basic rooms. The staff make it wonderful, friendly, very helpful and considerate to the extent of offering breakfast an hour early when I had to catch an early transport to Sapporo. Thank you for a great stay

We got looked after so well. They drove my friend to the hospital when he dislocated his shoulder, helped us with where to eat and where to find good lines on the mountain, and they did it all with a friendly helpful attitude. I might do it all again next year.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. But, for the love of God, get rid of the damn ping-pong table in the dining room/common area. It generates a lot of noise so that the only people enjoying themselves are the chumps playing ping-pong (who even does that????). It is impossible to read, have conversation, watch a movie even with head-phones or eat in the dining room thanks to the noise and the ping-pong balls flying through the room. What were you thinking???

Response from Henry G, Manager at Absolute Niseko

Hi Daniel, Hope all is well. Thank you for your positive comments regarding location, staff and cleanliness. We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy the table tennis. We understand the communal lounge room can get a bit noisy with all the guests playing table tennis but on the other hand it is enjoyed by the vast majority of the guests and is a great focal point of the lodge. Thank you for taking the time to review. Kind Regards, Absolute Niseko

It has one of the best locations in the village with a lift right outside of the lodge or the main lift a little bit further up the road. Lot's of other accommodations are much further away and it's nice not having to catch a bus or having to walk to far. Close to all the bars and restaurants. A small supermarket just outside the door. Easy with a self-check in and great to get to know other skiers that's here to enjoy the powder. And wifi in the common room with ping-pong tables etc. Easy breakfast provided but was perfect to then hit the slopes. I was looking for an easy place to stay where I got to meet other skiers and chat to locals. I wanted to stay close to the slope for best price possible. This was not a five-star hotel, but for the price, location and the staffs knowledge of local guides, it was great! I was here to ski and I had the best ski vacation ever.
