A genuine and fabulous Japanese experience in Niseko, we had an enjoyable time and really appreciated the hospitality provided by Syunichi-san and his wife. The Japanese breakfast buffet and pork stew dinner were the best food that we had in Niseko.
This is our second time to stay in this lovely inn. Very homey and cozy with excellent service. Rooms are very clean and sufficient for 3 of us. Food is superb - a must try. All thumbs up! Location's quite near to skiing place although walking can be a bit of challenge during winter time. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Niseko area.
What an incredible place! Friendly and super clean. Comfortable.. Breakfast was AMAZINGLY good. Highly recommend. A taste of Japan. There were 4 of us and the room was spacious. We enjoyed sleeping on the traditional bedding - we slept like rocks. There’s a kitchenette too for food to save money.
great experience in Ramina. very beautiful and warm place to stay in snow season. using the shuttle bus from next door hotel is also very convenient to go visit ski field. The breakfast buffet is great. Thanks the host Fuji san and his family.
This is our 2nd stay at this place and we still love it, especially the hospitality of the old couple who run the place. Both breakfast and dinner are fabulous too mainly with homemade stuff. Now that they also have an arrangement with next door hotel for bus service to town makes it even more convenient. Will definitely come back here again next time.
The Ramina is located just outside of Niseko Grand Hirafu. About a 15 minute walk from the main intersection. There is a shuttle bus to and from the village and ski area Welcome Centre and Gondola base every 30 minutes from the hotel next door. The hosts Fuji-San and Akimi will provide you with a home like setting. The rooms are spacious with a choice of western twin bed rooms or Japanese family rooms. Rooms have a small balcony and windows with great views. The hotel is small and cozy. You will meet the other guests in the common areas. Be sure to book breakfast as part of your package plus order supper on the nights when they serve it. Marvellous and plentiful traditional Japanese meals. You can bring your own beer and wine to the table or common areas. They always have a fire burning in the fireplace. Plus indoor storage for boots, skis, snowboards, etc at the front door. …
The host, Mr. Syunichi Fujimine provided a pick-up in train station and a free ride to skiing resort. His front desk also took the rental skiing sets delivered from shop for us one night before we arrived. In Ramina, the lift tickets was purchased with discount. Cozy place full of hospitality and a wonderful experience to stay.
We spent four nights in Ramina in January 2017. The place was immaculately kept and there was a constant log fire burning in the stove. The natural wood decor and views on to the snowy birch trees and bird feeders made it a very relaxing place to sit. The bedrooms were spacious by comparison to other places we stayed in Japan, and the beds were firm and very comfortable. The owner was very accommodating and went out of his way to help us with Taxis and pick ups etc. He was also very friendly and welcoming. The highlight was probably the food however. Book dinner if you stay there, it's fantastic. I wouldn't stay here if you were looking to party hard every night, but if you're interested in eating, skiing and/or relaxing, then this is the place to stay!
This is my second time to stay at Ramina. Once you had been here, you can't forget this couples and place. They will treat you as their family member and we felt at home during our entire stay. We enjoyed alot of great time and homemade cooking, everything they served to us are delicious. I can't stop thinking of the dessert till now and already confirmed to go back in upcoming winter time.
Ramina has a wonderful ambiance which you feel from the moment you walk into the building. There is a lovely attention to detail throughout the whole experience. The standout of our whole stay (and in fact, our 7 weeks in Japan) was the breakfast and dinner which we ate everyday we were there. The food was exquisite (additional cost), beautifully presented in a very relaxing atmosphere. Our kids actually would watch a movie in our room in the evening while my husband and I had a relaxing dinner downstairs. It was a great treat for all of us. I would highly recommend this stay.
